Too much excellence in the video, and the thing which I found funny is the doll which is explaining has kept the face as an annoying teacher that made me to listen whole video😂😂
5:04 in indirect gap semi-conductor, the maximum level of valence band and minimum energy level of conduction band, *do not occur at the same momentum of electrons.* What do you mean by 'do not occur at the same momentum of electrons'? Electrons isn't a unit of measurement?
Since momentum is conserved, a photon must be released in order to maintain this conserved momentum in an LED? More importantly why isn't momentum conserved in the other types of diodes? What is it about their gaps that cause this? If the momentum of an electron wasn't conserved so what, but a photon where momentum is not conserved?
Thank you for watching!
