Today I got my license but the route was completely different and a lot of construction sites were there. I was instructed by the test taker before the test to keep the speed to 40km/hr in the construction area. Be careful the route might be different.

Congratulations and thank you for sharing your experience and advice so others can benefit. There are multiple test routes in each area. I'm only able to create a video if others share their route. Hopefully over time I can find more routes to share.

Do u need an instructor for the test or nah?

If by "need" you mean is an instructor required, I believe the answer is no. In the some of the videos I link to from www.PracticalDrivingTest.com.au for people doing actual driving test, some people used their own car, so it was only them and the testing officer.
