GG Jackson like several said. With Ja & Bain out, he literally played like a first option on many nights. All of his hype coming out of highschool proved to be correct, even after his weak college season. For his rookie season showing, I think he's a top 5 pick easily.

Not hating, but I’m not convinced that he has all star upside anymore. When your number 1 skill that’s supposed to translate to the NBA is finishing at the rim, and then you come in and aren’t good at that, it’s usually not a good sign. He could probably be a quality starting guard one day

@@LeNut-yi7ui Suggs is capable of playing 1, 2, and 3 and Cole Anthony is mid. And a Scoot, Suggs and Cason guard rotation sounds nice to me long term

@@luisquinteros7492 He will be 24 next season and he was not that good the 2nd half of last season. I think he can be a very good role player and in most drafts he would be higher but this is one of the most talented classes in recent memory

I agree with you. However if Lively would have been taken like in this redraft (unfortunately) Wallace would be my choice, maybe Jarrace Walker. Dwight and maxi would have still been centers 1 & 2 and that would have been a bummer.

But who was the last 6’2 guard to win a championship as a top 3 on the team player who couldn’t shoot? Tony Parker and he had 2 top 75 all time players on his team and the arguable the goat coach.
The likelihood of Scoot being a future all star , very high. But unless he fixes his 3 ball , that will likely be it. Oh and Ja isn’t a great shooter but you know what Ja is , a great finisher. Scoot struggled to finish in the g league and nba

@@Shortballa11 He's a center. You want a center who's elite in the pick and roll. He's also the most impactful defender on a finals team. This is like not taking a point guard because he relies on big men to set his screens. It's sad that fans nowadays care more about getting your own shot than playing winning team basketball, which Derek Lively arguably does better than any other rookie in his class.

Lol Lively is dependent on Luka and Kyrie. Without them, he cannot create his own offense
@@sungodnigga15 why would that matter for a center? PPG is not more important than winning impact. The stats actually suggested the team is below average without Lively, in fact they sucked in the playoffs and regular season when Lively went off the floor even when Luka and Kyrie were playing. So really it's Lively anchoring the defense and providing a lob threat/screener is what got the team to the finals.

These are based off fit not performance or lively. most def couldn’t go past 5 he has the best rookie season outside of wemby, effecting winning he was big for my Mavs helping get to the finals and his upside is crazy!
