  • Here's a walk around video of our first 2024 Land Cruiser that we've gotten in.
    By coincidence, we had a 1st gen Land Cruiser in our service department. The transport driver dropped off this 2024 Land Cruiser, and parked it next to this first gen.
    What a picture, with so much history all in one photo.
    If you’ve put a deposit down and you’re just waiting for your Land Cruiser to arrive, feel free to send me the Vin#, and I’ll get you an update on it’s current status.
    Thanks for watching, and don’t forget to like and subscribe.

      Just like your 4Runner, in two years, these Landcruisers will be as high as they are today. In fact, the First Edition models will likely be higher yet.

    I don't remember tire shine being used on those Range Rovers showcased in Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom back in the 1960s/70s. We've come a long way baby!

    If it wasnt so expensive id get one in a heart beat. I make more than enough these days but just cant justify in my mind spending that much for what you get. Insurance i imagine will be pretty high too.

      Insurance will probably the one thing that will be much more affordable. With all the safety features, I bet the insurance will be less than you might think.

    would you say that the new LC has a better fit and finish than other toyota products? since it's priced very close to the new GX550, do doors make tingy or solid noise?

    • @Rodneysnwridesandreviews
      @Rodneysnwridesandreviews  4 месяца назад +3

      It sounded very solid, and it was definitely quiet inside, so there must be more sound deadening insulation than other Toyota models.
      Honestly I was only in or around the Land Cruiser yesterday for about 30 minutes before I delivered it, so I didn’t have any time to spend checking the fit and finish on it.

    Any update on the credit card key?

    • @Rodneysnwridesandreviews
      @Rodneysnwridesandreviews  4 месяца назад +1

      It Took Toyota a little while to get back to me, but they said the credit card key won’t come from the factory on the Land Cruiser’s. You should be able to purchase one thru your local Toyota parts department and have it programmed for your Land Cruiser if you want one. The was right at $300 for the key, and normally it’s about $100 for programming.

    The cup holders have nothing to do with the GX550.
    It’s because the LC250 has a non hybrid model in many other countries with a third row. The battery placement in these vehicles is ridiculous

      I doubt everyone wants a First Edition. So you might be able to find one of those at MSRP if you look at multiple dealers. The other trims probably at least a few months. The few dealers I spoke with (weeks ago) had dozens of people on the wait list.

      @@gomezbr1 unfortunately that doesn’t surprise me. When a vehicle is still new like that, it takes Toyota a little while to get the accessories transferred into the accessory catalog.
      Here’s a prime example. A customer wanted a tonneau cover for a Rav 4 Hybrid LE. Toyota has been sending them on the upper end models, but a tonneau cover isn’t available in our accessory catalog yet, so if we ordered one aftermarket, it would cost $600 🤦‍♂️

    AVS? Is that 100% accurate??

    • @Rodneysnwridesandreviews
      @Rodneysnwridesandreviews  4 месяца назад +1

      The Land Cruiser has EKDSS which incorporates the KDSS suspension and the electronic adjustment of the sway bar disconnect. To say it’s AVS by itself is inaccurate, but rather more of a combination of the two.
      On the Tacoma you have to flip a switch for the sway bar disconnect, but the Land Cruiser does it on its own, based on the driving conditions.

    • @davidhouston7812
      @davidhouston7812 4 месяца назад +1

      @@Rodneysnwridesandreviews hmm the GX has the automatic EKDSS
      The LC like the Taco you will have to push the button to disconnect the sway bars. Nothing is automatic with the Land Cruiser

    • @Rodneysnwridesandreviews
      @Rodneysnwridesandreviews  4 месяца назад

      @@davidhouston7812 do you have knowledge of which suspension it actually has? Toyota hasn’t provided the dealers with any information on the Land Cruiser suspension. If it’s like the Tacoma, Tundra, Sequoia, and upcoming 4-Runner, then it should have the AVS suspension. I’ve seen several forums talking about the AVS suspension on the 2024 Land Cruiser, however the 4th gen LC showed to have the EKDSS.
