First I’ve seen your channel and I have to say I have a lot of respect for you being so honest with the flaws and issues. I think all things considered you’re right with the price. Especially in this current market, that’s a decent deal!
That's dirt cheap for a first generation Challenger in this day and age. It has some flaws but good luck finding one cheaper that doesn't need a total restoration!!!
@@hotwheel6663 yeah Mopar s back then we're known for starters alternators voltage regulators and automatic transmissions going out quite easily believe me I know I got stuck in some horrible spots and I drink a lot back then it was the it was a long time ago have a good day😆✌️
Very honest of you to point out all the issues and what's wrong with the car ....but ...is there anything that isn't wrong with that car? Cheers God bless you all
We painted a car one time and after we prepared for paint the owner decided that he was going to clean the vinyl top with some armor all and all we had was fish eyes all over the hood and trunk. It cost him a second paint job.
Awesome Nick《☆》Nice E body project car👍It probly needs a carb accelerator pump rebuild to fix the stumble. Kickdown lever may need adjustment to correct shifting🖖🤓🏈
Nick is turning up the heat on us, been teasing us with them Chevelle's and now it's them beautiful Mopars 🔥❤️ 440 4 speed 🔥 those car's will surely look good under a Christmas 🌲
This ones gonna need painted and what I seen quicker the better, the leaks from motor and trans make the rear-end look like it's sprung a leak too. Simple fixes
Someday someday I will be able to say it’s that time, let’s go for a ride in my new ride. Some day I will bring cash, camp out in lot and get mine on a Monday or Sunday night when the new ones come in .
Poor car, looks like someone put a lot of work into it, then fell into the hand's of someone that didn't properly care for it, at least it's painted orange so it can have the body fixed and repainted without having to blow it all apart, car definitely worthy of it.👍💪
That Fire Chicken I saw last Friday must not have made it to the web site. Was it a 67? The 73 Challenger is really sharp. Heading down that way from Ohio next week to say hi.
Def not a bad price for a running, driving and complete E body. I’ve seen rotted basket cases for the same price. If I wasn’t restoring my 79 Trans am I’d scoop it👍🏼
Nice to see prices getting back to reality on the E-body clone cars. Back in the mid 2000's you could buy a '72-74 Challenger R/T 440 clone for 10-15k, now I routinely see them for 40-50k+! At that point you might as well just buy a real '70-71 R/T 440 for 60-70k lol. The clone will never appreciate like the real thing either as an investment.
I think the ones fetching those higher prices are restomods, upgraded suspension, out with the leaf springs, 4 wheel disc, power steering, rack and pinion, all new wiring with led lights, air king ac, and usually an efi newer engine of some sort with a lot of horse power, bigger tires and rims and tubed. It’s like getting a brand new car with the old look.
@@JustNickdj Exactly! Back in the mid 2000's you could still find a lot of '72-74 E-bodies that were restomodded in the 80's-90's BUT were just nice drivers at that point, far from perfect rotisserie show cars. It was sitting in grandpa's barn and in 1995 they dropped in a rebuilt 440 from a motorhome, put on Cragars, and gave it a Macco paint job so you could cruise it to Dairy Queen. Nowadays all of those cars have gotten 100k nut and bolt restos and the builders apparently think they can sell it for a big chunk of what they put in.
That's surprising. C3 Corvettes aren't the most collectible car esp. since GM made a ton of them and they made that model for 15 years. You could almost give away mid 70-early 80s Corvettes, at least before Covid hit. Still, the 454 of that year had pretty respectable power considering all the smog equipment of cars from that era.
This is not a bad car that needs a usual resto and mechanical work for its age but if it gets left for too long, big resto, and more money.man that noise from the engine bay would drive me mad
@@97MstngCobra Thanks for confirming, I recognize GM and Ford rears, I think in the unde-rbody cam it compressed the image sideways - she looked puny....lol..
Why does that intro song sound like something from South Park? 😂 but anyways, I’ve got a 67 Coronet 440, a 71 349 Duster, and I am definitely in the market for another toy. Found a 70 383 Chally for $10k that needs a load of work.
Nice car think it needs a transmission, rebuilt . Buityfull ride not the best performance video. I could care about paint from a distance looks fine over all need to address performance issues musta been one of the most embarrassing ones but still iron out the bugs on power trane this car would be hot.
I could bring wrong but that dosnt look like solvent pop...looks like they painted over rust and it's comming threw.... that car needs to be blasted and painted
One of my favorite cars. 440 with a 4 speed is a torque monster. Too bad this one's not a standard but I still love it.

Kowalski special. Well, not white and not a 1970 model but...I'll never forget Vanishing Point!
Same 😎

Great price for an E body that's in good shape. 440 makes my day. Another bucket list car.
I had one those are great cars and 440 my God man that car is going to sell fast 👍✌️
Not with that trans slippin'

That crack down the center of the dash is very typical Chrysler of the time. Nice ride though.
I liked the intro having music. That Er-range beauty is definitely a centerfold.

Evening My Good Little Bro Nick Southgate Sir Of Maple Motors & Yes That Is A Very Nice Looking 1972 Dodge Charger
I like your videos. In addition you could do a dome light challenge. Another indicator if the car was loved.
I owned a 71 with a 440 in it would have kept it but the body was VERY rusty this one looks okay!
For a 1972 is in good shape need few adjustments and it will run great

It needs some love... But what Mopar doesn't. I prefer the Cuda! 👍😎
Sounds like it needs just a little lovin', I'm the man for that job! Dear Santa!!!
What you see is what you get that’s why I love this channel
I just love 440 Challengers ❤️ sure would make a sweet cruiser with a little TLC. At the asking price she will fly off the lot,for real 👍 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 🙏 🇬🇧

Big Block Mopar at Maple Motors!
That bad boy is as good as Sold
Pretty solid 1st Gen Challenger could use a tlc on paint job & transmission slipping which may need rebuilding too m

I believe the the 440 engine was not offered in 72 , but I like it!!!
Nice clean car but the 440 was not available in 72' the biggest C.I. in 72' was offered in the rally and was the 340 4brl

The slapstick shifter was an issue in those Challengers

Needs a little tlc and paint but still nice car
No break lights that's why the turn signals don't flash bro 😹.
keep on making videos who knows I may buy one on a good say LOL
Very solid car, needs some going through of course, did that rear end pumpkin look pretty small, like from a 6 cylinder car? Seems non-posi?
Looks like an 8.3/4 rear axle.

What do I need to do if I'm interested in buying this beautiful car?
for a 40 some year old car not bad
Put that stuff back in the trunk bro 😲
Acne, means rust. Also, probably a vinyl top car.
but it is on the truck , hood , doors , everywhere. Bad paint prep is more less the cause
