A few minutes later, he was interviewed by Jerry. He made a challenge to all watching, to raise a certain amount of money, within the remaining time. He said if it was done, he was bringing KITT on the show live. Does anyone know if he did? He never said what time he would bring KITT on.

He did. And he also promoted a product that he said he was distributing. It was a ball that softened on impact so that disabled kids could use it. Can't believe I remember this. I was a HUGE fan for too long.

So to put this in context, they married the next year. It lasted four years. She went on to marry another soap actor named Michael Knight. They divorced, too. She then married Debbie Reynolds' son. They're still together. No kids. HE married someone he met on Baywatch. They had two children together. They were hella messy with all kinds of abuse from both sides. They had a humiliating divorce. Now he's married to someone who shares a name with his daughter. I think she's around the same age, too. Put a lot of these celebrity romances into perspective.
