My first car was a 700 dollar 65 El Camino ! It was really a POS but had a 3:73 Posi and a rock crusher 4 speed behind the little 283. Anyways, I would go and do a Jack Clifford build on that six banger ! You’ll get more power and definitely up the cool factor ! Keep up the good work guys !

I ran coilover springs on my 86 Monte Carlo. The trick was to make taller spring pads. I welded 2” or 2.5” exhaust pipe to my pads,whichever size fit inside my coilover springs,made them like 2” tall and the springs wouldn’t fall out.

I feel for Jimmy. A lot of people don't truly understand the amount of pain that comes with the recovery from a burn. It's a good thing that he has his wife and family and when I say family I'm also talking about the entire SRC family.

Tell him he needs to do a traditional build with original hop up parts and enter that baby in the Race of Gentlemen here in NJ in October... make sure he checks out some videos of the race here on RUclips , I think he'll dig it !
Looks like Jimmy Dales car had a genuine GM mechanic work on it. Bump the wires together and the car tries to start. Lol. Some people should not mess with that kinda stuff. At least he looks like he’s healing well.
That monte carlo is a really good looking car I was painting at the biggest chevy dealership in New Orleans when those cars came out I wasn't to crazy about the body style on them but yours made me look at them totally different a guy in my home town of Chalmette la. Had one the same color as your Malibu he bought it at a police action it had a nice 400 in it the car was seized by the state police because it was involved in a drug ring and when the guy went to put new carpet in it he pulled the sill plates off in the door jam and they were all cut out and the police never got all the drugs out the car there was some packages that were wrapped up with duck tape hid inside the rocker panels it was 8 onces of some of that white happy dust. Lord have mercy.
Uncle Bucko needs his own channel so I can give him shit about infecting that nice FORD with GM SHIT !!! An equally built 289 is lighter, physicall smaller, and if built right will out perform some terd 327. PLUS it's the RIGHT THING TO DO !!
