- We really picked the wrong time of year to do this, but we are doing our best to give y’all a chance to see just exactly what this little 427 Street Engine is REALLY CAPABLE OF!
Testing reveals, my Nova needs more than just Caltracs to handle the amount of power this thing makes on the jug!!!

That was super cool of the track owner Paul to do all that and open it for you guys like that. Just way cool. But seeing the smile on Uncle Bob's face made my evening. He deserved the break and to experience something he has built.
The owner of a dragstrip will open it for any individual for the right dollar
Don’t think that was done for free. He paid that gentleman to come out there and run that car on that track guaranteed.

He probably charged him very little since it is Bill or they possibly could have worked out a deal as far as promotions you promote my track I open it free for you, which is still technically not free but whatever. But I do still yet stand by my statement that he will open the track for anybody for the right price.

Another Banger of video, keep up the great work!!!! A piece of advice. Spend as much time as you can with your dad, I lost my dad back in 1990 when he was just 53 yrs old, and I was 23. You just never know what God's plan is, make every second count. Now that I am 56 I cherish the time I get to spend with my boys 15, 18, & 21. God Bless you and the Family.
I agree I lost my dad in Aug 93 just before his 63 birthday and my 42 as we are both born in October.

You can tell ol Bob is a pro! When she sashayed at the gear change, he didn't even flinch. A little steering wheel input and kept on rollin lol. You can tell Bob has been fast many times for sure. I'm sure happy to see you keeping the Nova rollin. My first car was a 72' Nova SS four speed car, and I've had 5, 3rd gen Nova's total. So I'm a big fan of the Nova. I love all the content on all the channels. And it just keeps getting better!

Bill seeing you doing this with/for you old man brings a tear to my eyes. My grandfather had 3 model A cars. I use to do the same thing with him. We would drive around he would show me all the places he went as a young man and we would go to the cemetery and clean off all the family graves. This time is absolutely priceless. My grandfather has been gone for almost 3 years now id give anything to have 1 more rid or day with the grupmy old fart.
Wow, I feel old. When you and the driveshaft dude were talking about your graduation years I realized how old I'm getting. I graduated in 1971. We drove our muscle cars as is right from the factory. A set of cragar SS wheels and maybe a set of headers and we thought we were King S**t! lol I wish I was in good enough shape to do it all over. Love watching all the SRC family videos. I definitely don’t miss that Ohio weather and there are some advantages to living here in the People’s Republic of California you can’t beat it here in Southern California this time of the year the temperatures are still in high 70’s.
The old Nova is running sweat and looks great with the front tires in the air. You can’t beat the hospitality of the friendly folks in West by God Virginia!

Besides all hectic filming it looks like you're living the dream, glad to see Bob out enjoying life, the only time I usually see him he's in the shop lol. Looked like he enjoyed his time away as well. Building cars, traveling & racing all with friends & family. Glad to see your dad is getting out enjoying his new purchase, sometimes when someone looses their significant other or family member in your case things start to go down hill so its awesome to see y'all are not allowing that to happen. I'm sure your mom is looking down smiling at all the joy y'all are bringing to everyone.

Another great video from the old man and you could tell uncle bob was enjoying his self taken the nova down the track with a motor in it that he built and the nova looked good with the front wheels in the air coming of the line and the old man was having a great time in the nova as well I bet that brought some memories back from when he raced it all the time love to see the old man put the nova together and start racing it again would be awesome
