- In this video we tour a new gated housing development 10 minutes outside of Ocho Rios in the parish of St Ann. These units come with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and residents have access to a private beach.

I was going to buy in this development but I quickly realized the prices were inflated, United were not moving as fast as they led me to believe and the developer had plans to rent out many of the units himself which would create a very transient community.
Wow with that price all the appliances should have been thrown in .
It’s a shame that more and more beaches in Jamaica are being sold and only accessible to people who have money . This is causing more and more division in the country.

Not all beaches in jamaica u have to pay, theres a lot of beaches that are free and locals can go,And not only jamaica do that other islands in the caribbean and other places do that as well.. KMT

I agree as a developer the price is very high even though these are beautiful. Our units of gated swimming pool 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms starting at $130,000 with owner financing in quite area 2 miles from white sand beach.
Nice. Tell me more. Sounds great. Especially, when O have 2 bd & 1 bath. The 2nd would really come in handy. Plus, I pay that amount here 😐.

Beautiful summer homes it's pricey but no matter where u go real estate is expensive and this more so because it's close to beach if u can afford it it will be a wonderful investment opportunity

Perhaps she could open an account with NHT and start investing with that company They have great ideas and they are a lot resourceful. Start now and build up yourself. Your channel came up on my feed.....watching while working from home in lockdown Great virtual house tour not too keen on the 'private beach' aspect but can understand. £288,000 starting price seems reasonable as one wouldn't be able to buy a 3bed house where i live in London UK 🇬🇧

Hello there! Must say your videos are very well put together - clearly explained and detailed, etc. But that house is far too pricey. Kitchen is tiny, bathrooms couldn't swing a cat (fittings pushed together). Just the sea for all that cash!! Am just up the road P.V. looking to downsize.

Point of note.No matter what they about the beach been for Marina villa owners only anybody can be on the beach up to the shore line. The beach is for the people of Jamaica and cannot be privately owned.As as I can access the beach without coming unto private property I cannot be evicted from said beach.
Doesn't it have a barrier or fence to stop someone just walking onto to from outside the development?
@@lennieadi Seaside lots have demarcation.There is not lot that has its demarcation in the water. So called Pvt Beach owners sometimes erect illegal barriers in the sea to ward off " intrusion" but as I said before this is illegal. I once used an alternative entrance to an "hotel beach" the Security Guard tackled me wanting to know if I was a guest I ignored him for a while but could not resist letting know I was not. I told him as long as I was not on the hotel property and was only on the beach he can't say or do anything to me.I had a lovely day. around with these people

It's a beautiful house but yeah the price is over the top. That price is because of the private beach.
We pay even more, initially for the appliances 😒 🙄.
I like houses painted white in hot areas, i hate grey in homes, it looks too institutional
Really nice units though, impressed, not digging the color though, i love white houses, it really helps keeping the buildings some degree cooler
The homes come without kitchen appliances, a food pantry and linen closet. Definitely a deal breaker for me.

Really nice but I don't like how the matter is right off the shared space, not very ideal for privacy in my opinion. The private beach is awesome. And of course Jamica's expensive housing situations.
The neighbors are so close.
The entrance door isn’t stylish at all, the living spaces are very small and what are those wire bits that is in the cupboard for shelves, this unit is over priced, certainly wouldn’t like to be there when a second Gilbert hurricane decide to visit. 😳
