Kayaking the Whitewater River - Elba, MN - Elba to Hwy 74/30 - October 2023

Kayaking the Whitewater River between Elba, MN and the landing near the intersection of Highway 74 & 30. The put-in is at Hwy 2; roadside parking and a path to the river. The take-out is a dedicated landing with a grassy parking area and path to the river.
The following link is for the Minnesota water level site and displays water levels and a paddlability rating. Most of the gauges have been interpreted for paddling on a scale ranging from "scrapable" (so low that paddlers may have to get out of their watercraft to avoid rocks) to "very high" (where paddling is considered dangerous and not recommended).
