@@David-td5po Here are some specific ways in which the United States has impacted Venezuela, contributing to political and economic turmoil: 1. Economic Sanctions: The U.S. has imposed numerous economic sanctions on Venezuela, particularly targeting the government, state-owned enterprises like PDVSA (the state oil company), and individual officials. These sanctions are intended to pressure the Venezuelan government in response to allegations of corruption, human rights abuses, and undermining of democracy. However, they have also exacerbated the country’s economic crisis, affecting the general population by limiting access to international financial markets and reducing oil revenue, which is crucial for the economy. 2. Political Pressure: The U.S. has been vocally critical of Venezuelan leaders, particularly Nicolás Maduro, and has supported opposition figures, most notably Juan Guaidó during the political crisis following the 2018 presidential election. The U.S. recognition of Guaidó as the legitimate leader of Venezuela, along with similar recognitions from several other countries, intensified the political crisis. 3. Diplomatic Isolation: Along with sanctions, the U.S. has worked to diplomatically isolate Venezuela on the international stage, urging other nations to reject Maduro’s presidency and support the opposition. This has added to the nation’s struggles by further limiting Venezuela’s ability to engage with much of the international community. 4. Narrative and Media Influence: The United States’ influence over global narratives around democracy, human rights, and governance has shaped international perceptions of Venezuela’s political and economic situation. This media influence often paints the Venezuelan government in a negative light, impacting its international standing and internal dynamics. These actions are part of a broader geopolitical strategy concerning Latin America, where the U.S. has often been involved in political and economic outcomes. The effects of these policies and actions are complex and have contributed both directly and indirectly to challenges within Venezuela.

I hope the US won’t be next!
America dumped a lot of money to try and change the government but the people have spoken.please leave Venezuela Central America and the world alone
Yea they have spoken and it's to oust Maduro is it not apparent?
Please leave Guyana alone...
@@David-td5po actually that's what the western media wants you to believe but we in central America know differently thats why our country abstained from siding with the west against Maduro. The West needs to prepare for a new rules based order and stop crying.
@@belizeangirls So explain why 8 million people have FLED a country that only has a population of 28 million?
@@David-td5po Google the answer CIA man. When you sanction a sovereign country to death what do you expect to happen. You all tried it with Russia but it's not working out so well is it. Bullies can only bully the weak
Get that tyrant out of power
US media on Jan 6 'Stop don't protest results! Threats to democracy'
US media on Venezuela election 'get out on the streets and make some noise!'
i'm all for the people to protests , its their right to form a good government for the peoples by the peoples.
Free Venezuelans!
😂🎉😂🎉How thick does your skull have to be not to see thru this 😂🎉😂🎉😂🎉😂🎉
For those who support Maduro, can someone offer their perspective as to why it’s not possible to at least show basic evidence of the vote count to Venezuelan citizens, its own people.
If he won and has nothing to hide, I don’t see what the problem is.
It might even go a long way in helping to calm down the riots.
Same things going to happen here if the elections are done the same way.
Like what nothing like in Venezuela
@@mosheridan7016 How do you know? Elections haven't happened yet. If the Democrats are willing to assassinate the competition then rigging the elections isn't out of the question.
I'm afraid it's not going to be a smooth election here either. The "ins" have established roots that will be difficult to dig up, when we are trying to establish a
fertile field of true democracy, which includes everyone.
@@SIR_RR at the rate this country is headed we aren't far away from a lifestyle like that.
If Trump win you will see it, no more constitution
FREEDOM FOR VENEZUELA 🇻🇪 🙌 👏
As long as military follow orders from Maduro,he will not go down
It's a page out of the Putin playbook.
Clearly which is why Russia and China were so quick to call and congratulate. Birds of a feather flock together
Sin miedo, contigo Corina, Madre y angel de la libertad contigo hasta el final, cada sabado 😇✌
If the people had weapons this would not have happened.
Rest in peace, Thomas Matthew Crooks! You were a TRUE PATRIOT, and a real American hero! You will be missed.
Trump is studying this one for sure!
Trump had nothing to do with the paramilitary of the left burning down cities. That was the Democratic Socialist party. BLM and Antifa
Seems like the soft coup was Biden when they realized he couldn't win. Then, they installed a new puppet for you.
He should. The left steals elections. The results in 2020 look identical to what happened there. The dems stole 2020.
Trump to scared to do that again, and his friends went to prison
dude, TRUMP loves VZ.....all those beauties in the MISS UNIVERSE every year!!!......lol
I wish they could respect the results like we do in America.
Cuban military and security services are entrenched in Venezuela, so don’t expect anything ✌🏽
Hmmmmm enough talk where is the proof
Who care? They will ignore if it not their problem
If Blinken says say won. That means she lost. This is the all the US medeling in other country
America is crying that they can’t get hold of 🇻🇪 Venezuelan oil and cobolt 😂😂😂😂
Like trump said we have the most oil right under the US soil... We dont need them lol. Keep letting kamala and the democratic party brain wash you!
Don't be ridiculous
We should have a share of their resources, considering all of their people we have accepted in our country. Freedom is not free.

Mostly peaceful and fiery protests all over again.
Are those protests?
What do you Dims say happened on Jan 6th?
Acting like the two are the same is the dumbest thing that so many Republicans are saying right now, it just shows how uninformed you are on both topics.
What kind of machines does Venezuela use?
What protests. 2-300 mobs are “”masive protests “” now ? Seems you guys don’t know what’s eman masive protests. 😂😂😂
Maduro and election officials say "No Widespread Fraud"
It's about the oil...at the end of the day.....
Lol if it was about oil then why is the oil industry cut off from the USA? 😂😂 Do people even think before leaving silly comments.
Maduro was threatening Guyana because he wants their oil 😅...
@@kingkoi6542 Exactly, Venezuelas oil is useless. It's thick, full of contaminates, expensive to refine, and most countries outside of the US don't have the capability to refine it! Guyana's oil is a completely different story. The US already has offshore operations going on in Guyana, Venezuela knows better than to invade because the US will step right in! Guyana is soon to be a RICH country.
Cartels run this Country an 'No One Elce'.
Oh no good luck America wants to give you democracy😂
America has its eyes on you
If Trump don't when what do you think it will be like?
Oh, look, America incarnet, NOW!
invade Venezuela for the oil.
As of 2023, Venezuela had the world's largest proven crude oil reserves at around 303 billion barrels, which is about 17% of the world's total reserves. The majority of Venezuela's reserves are extra-heavy crude oil from the Orinoco Belt, which requires more technical expertise to extract. However, international oil companies have been limited in their involvement due to sanctions.
