BLACK CROWES... PLEASE if you care about your fans NEVER play the Greek again. The sound ordinances in the area RUIN THE ROCK SHOW. WAS NOT WORTH THE MONEY. The sound was horrible in the upper sections. ALL treble... No bottom end. Couldn't hear the bass and no KICK drum at ALL! I have to rank this as my worst show attended as far as sound. Sounded like AM radio.

I was front row in front of Nico and he was basically all we heard for like 97% of the show. We kept saying turn Chris up. But gave up after a few songs and no change.
If you're in the front row you're probably not getting an accurate idea of the mix...
@@grantco2 You wont get it in the upper section at the Greek either. Sounds was real thin up there. No bottom end at all. A and B section about the only good spot at the Greek
@@pb6717 It sounds like they were saying they were in front of Nico and mostly could only hear him. To me that would imply they were close enough to that part of the stage that they were picking up Nico's stage volume.
@@grantco2 Yeah, I got that. I still say... If you are in the upper section don't expect to hear everything. Only place for a good mix is in section A and B. Sound ordinances at The Greek are too restricting. All I heard were cymbals, vocals and guitars...No kick drum and No Bass

I've loved that song ever since I heard a cover of it on a Manic Street Preachers b-side, which made me check out the Faces. Faces, Crows, Manics, all great bands from my childhood, I had a great musical education haha
I was around when Faces put this out... I was little but a few years later I got the LP and still have the LP, I bought it in 76 or 77 it's about worn out now
