For all of the people commenting about the name: Steinunn was never intending for her music to be a "thing" - she just made up a quick name on Bandcamp so she could upload some music to share with a couple friends. But a panelist for the Kraumur Awards happened to stumble into her page at random, nominated her, and she was one of the six Kraumur Award winners in 2015. When someone later tracked her down to inform her of the award, her response was, "Umm er óvart orðin tónlistarmaður! Setti eitthvað sjitt undir dulnefni á bandcamp fyrir svona ári. Án þess að nokkur maður ætti að sjá. Var síðan útnefnd á úrvalslista kraumsverðlaunanna um daginn, flippvika! (skil ekki neitt)": "Umm, I've accidentally become a musician! Put some shit under a fake name on Bandcamp a year or so ago. Without being meant for others to see. Was then named to the selection list of the Kraumur Awards the other day, crazy week! (I don't understand anything)"
