I've been in and out of the hospital since last fall with some serious heart problems and I thank God for all the hours I've been able to spend watching "fishing" videos on RUclips. I feel like California lobsters are way underappreciated! I've had one before and the taste is awesome! They apparently are also one of the best maintained and most sustainably caught populations of lobsters in the world. Maine lobsters are super tasty too, but I think more people should try Cali spiny lobster.

I was trying to horse the fish coz I thought it was a ray, but I was bummed out when they told me they never heard anyone caught a ray in the area. I would’ve taken my time landing the fish if I knew it could be a Hali 🙁😓
