These must go bad pretty often. I replaced driver's side regulator 2 years ago and now the passenger side has gone out. So annoying. That piece of plastic breaks, it's not even the motor.

Thank you very much! I just found your video tonight, and it is very helpful. I have a 2011 Hyundai Elantra Touring. I wonder if anyone else has had the same degree of problems for these window regulators as I have. I have replaced (actually had the dealer do so under extended warranty) eight (8!!!) of these regulators in 10 years across all four doors. This has been the primary car for both my wife and me at different times, and I don't understand how we could be moving the windows up and down incorrectly.

Great videos. Last year about this time I used your passenger side video. Wouldn't you know it: This year I'm going to use your passenger side video. Interesting to me is that the both regulators broke a year apart. Must be a conspiracy or something. The one thing you might help out with is how to properly position the window in the bracket so that when the window moves up and down it does not bind. Again, great videos. Thank you!

@@PowerUpAuto will do! Also, when I changed on the first one, I set the window in the clamps but did not tighten too much so that it would self-align when I operated the window. After I was confident it was properly aligned (horizontally), I tightened the clamps.

Basically I have to manually pull up And down window. The motor still runs when I hit button but window doesn't move. Any ideas in what the issue might be before I get into it? Hope I described well enough. Thnx again in advance
