On the new Android 14 beta the Pixel Fold now resize all apps full screen also other new features too. Almost 2 days battery life and 8 to 10 hours on screen time. Had mine 2 months fine in Miami Ocean last month and my swimming pool.
Scale is amazing!!! Way better than any fold out in the market…..perfect to use closed and open Not too tall but wide enough to be able to use normally without any setbacks
@@Super-c00n Rank mine at 10 because I still have my Z Fold 3 now 2 years old and it wasn't as unusual except the pen. I love both screens and the different software that's Google only.
I'm trading my phone in and debating on if I should get the pixel fold or wait and get the pixel 8 pro. Would you say the pixel fold is worth it? Or to wait for the pixel 8 pro?
Your videos are very high quality. I'm trading my phone in and thinking about either getting the pixel fold or wait for the pixel 8 pro. What would you recommend?
😂In this video, DetroitFury, a RUclipsr who likes Apple products, reviews the Google Pixel Fold after using it for a couple of weeks. Overall, he really likes the phone and even replaced his S23 Ultra with it. Here are some key points from the video: * Design: The Pixel Fold is comfortable to hold and feels very premium. It comes in two colors: porcelain and obsidian. The bezels around the inner display are large but they tend to fade away when you are engrossed in your content. The hinge is durable and feels super premium. * Cameras: The Pixel Fold camera system performs admirably. It has a trio of rear cameras: a 48 megapixel main sensor, a 10.8 megapixel ultrawide shooter and a 10.8 megapixel telephoto lens. The front camera is 9.5 megapixel. However, the camera is not as good as the Pixel 7 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro. It takes great pictures in low light but relies a lot on software optimization. * Performance: The Pixel Fold is powered by Google's G2 tensor chip. It is not the most powerful phone on the market but it is sufficient for most tasks. He got 13.90 for single core score and 32.91 for multi-core score using the geekbench 6 test. * Battery life: The battery life is not great. The phone has a 4821 mAh battery and he can only get through the day with around 15-20% left if he mostly uses the front screen. * Software: The software is intuitive and there are going to be more updates. Pixel fold optimizes many apps for the large screen. * Other features: The Pixel Fold has a 7.6-inch inner display and a 5.8-inch front display. The inner display is bright but not as bright as the Galaxy Z Fold 4. It has an ipx8 water resistance rating. In conclusion, the Google Pixel Fold is a great foldable phone with a beautiful design, a good camera system, and intuitive software. However, the battery life is not great and the camera is not the best. If you are looking for a foldable phone with a great camera and long battery life, you might be better off with the Galaxy Z Fold 4. But if you are looking for a well-rounded foldable phone from Google, the Pixel Fold is a great option.
The biggest disappointment with this device I think is that they're not going to give the same software support that the Pixel 8 series are getting. With the amount of money that they're charging, that's ridiculous.
lol even while you are saying that it lays perfectly flat we can already see in your video that it’s 1 to 2 degrees NOT flat. I have the pixel fold and have to give it an extra push to make it 180 flat each time. It’s annoying as hell.
"7 foot 6 display" could you imagine lol. The best Android reviews come from Apple fans. Thank you.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love them both!!! I represent both sides
I just thought that would be funny
Wow, this Google pixel Fold looks pretty sleek, thank you for review DetroitFury.I was wondering about the hinge durability on this particualar phone.
Hinge is solid!!! For me at least 🤣
good deal@@DetroitFury

You had yours for two months? How would you rank the device on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest?

At this point I don’t even care if you were reviewing green beans I come for the video production quality 😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Also love the video watching at 2160 p very sharp on the inside screen.
Agreed!!!!!

What do you mean software support?? Each phone get their "exclusives" and based on the chip in it. I have the Pixel Fold and I love it.
i still love this more than anything else out there paired with my iphone 15 pro max
Question. Did you fully switch over or just playing around in both worlds?
If I’m testing a device I fully use that phone
The lightening pro 2 is $50 cheaper here…is it worth to give 50 more for type c?? ( is sound signature almost similar??)
yes it is!

Great video first time on your channel 😊 would love to buy google pixel fold to replace my pixel 6pro 💪 but google don't sell it in Denmark 😢
Thank you so much!!! glad you enjoyed it :)........agreed....it should be available everywhere!
To make the batteries last way longer, shut down all useless app running in the background🤷
