I forgot to mention other Xiao + Xianyun team options. If you don't have Furina or Faruzan (or both), I recommend using these characters: Bennett, Yelan, Zhongli, Xiangling (with Bennett), Albedo (with Zhongli)
Some things I recommend considering before deciding: 1- For Xiao, PJWS is a MASSIVE upgrade over F2P weapons. 2- Staff of Homa and Calamity Queller are almost as good as PJWS for Xiao tho. R5 Deathmatch isn't far behind either. 3- Other characters that have the PJWS as one of their best weapons (at least top 3) are: Cyno, Rosaria and Raiden (Carry). 4- C2 Xianyun teams will be some of the best single-target teams in the game. Especially for those who also have C2 Furina. 5- Although Xianyun's C2 is insane for single-target, it's definitely not that great for AoE.
C6 Faruzan without a doubt. Don't get me wrong, Xianyun will be amazing for Xiao, but she's not irreplaceable. You can use Jean/Bennett instead of Xianyun and the only difference you will notice is the lower damage numbers. As for C6 Faruzan, not only is she an even higher DPS increase than Xianyun, but also has off-field crowd control and generates a lot of Anemo particles. C6 Faruzan fixes Xiao's two weaknesses (plunge knockback and energy issues).
