My daughter also collects sweatshirts so this makes total sense to me. She has so many and most of them she never wears. She just has them folded up nice and neat in her closet pretty much on display.
Fancy over here with a first class ticket on the struggle bus! I remember times hanging off the bottom of the struggle bus trying to carry all my shit with one hand and hanging on for dear life with the other 😂😂😂 it's funny cause we've absolutely all been there! It's a universal feeling we all get to feel in life 😂 I even been hit by the struggle bus a few times!!! 😂
Awesome video. I love the sweatshirt one too. I actually collect hoodies. I have probably at least 30-40 also. In several closets in the house. lol. Love the other two also. The flea circus one was adorable and the Barbie one was very cool and Barbie like. 💜
Dude, I LOVE sweatshirts! My favorite is XXL and is basically a minidress on me 😂 That'son purpose--oversized sweatshirts and sweaters make me feels EXTRA cozy!
Even if you think the circus girl is underwhelming, it is still very good practice. At least you try instead of just thinking about trying. Like me. Plus, coloring is always fun. No matter your age!
Loving this series and really looking forward to Book 2.... And 3!!! Lol I too have an immense sweater/sweatshirt collection that has somehow taken over in the last year and a half! My favourite is a 100% wool sweater in *vibrant* rainbow stripes.
I think your sweatshirt collection is adorable!! 🥰 Good taste - tye dye and rainbow!! 🌈 You managed to create a believable Barbie pink!! 💞 I wonder if you would have liked the flea trainer better with some eye highlights? It was quite cute!🤗
"Everyone can art however they want to art and still be right."-Rose 2025 I need this on a sticker such a good quote to remember not to compare yourself art to others. I'm guilty of that in so many ways that I feel less creative. My create this book is still blank cuz I want it to look a certain way. I just want to learn how to art in all the different ways like so many other artists. I really like your chibi trainer. She's cute and adorable. She's your own unique style of character which that's what artists learn to do is come up with their own styles and that sets them apart from other artists.
I feel that about the book though. I'm forcing myself to finish my first CTB before I start the 2nd, even though I feel like certain pages don't hold up to the rest of the book. And I can start "fresh" in book 2.
Super cute! My wardrobe is mad at me for my collection of pun and introvert tshirts 😂 i too have no idea how this vast quantity of tops happened…magic?
I think you did great on all your pages i was one of those flea circus goofs 😂 i thought it was an interesting concept....as for the sea monkeys i was never able to experience the let down of that thank goodness....i can understand the hurt of being lied to😅 i need to get busy working on my create this book too i kinda just let it collect dust for way too long now you may of encouraged to get up and do a page or 2....i love your sweatshirt collection and completely understand needing a boost of encouragement while on that struggle bus! As always THANK YOU for another artsy week enjoyed it alot i hope your doing well and having a great first part of the new years!!! Keep up your great work!
Hii love ur vids, When I was a kid, my mom told me that regular sharpeners were for pencils (the ones with the pointy tip). She said color pencil sharpeners were specifically labeled with the word "color" on them because they sharpened color pencils differently-short and stubby, just like how they originally come.
I have a pencil sharpener that has different slots for graphite, colored pencil and something else, but it seems to make them longer like all other pencils
The flea circus page is cute =) I sympathize with the struggle of a page feeling too plain--even though all that coloring definitely took work. Cute dreamy Barbie coloring. I'm curious about those colored pencils. The super easy use sounds good for me, since I have tendonitis and can't press really hard to color. Well, I can, but too much causes pain & a flare up. Lol, sweaters/hoodies are quite a bulky thing to collect. I guess I can't tease, because I have at least 6 or 7 jackets (full zip for me; easier to get in and out of) of various colors & thicknesses. It's been super cold here in New England this past week, and I was wearing my heaviest one, lol--fully lined with sherpa =) Anyway, fun video!
hey! just fyi oil based colored pencils are mainly used for painting purposes (not saying you can't use them like you did here) which is why they are dull and not sharp sharp. they are meant for fine details over dried oil paint :) to blend them better maybe look for some solvents to push around the pigment and use water color paper!
Girl I have a hoodie collection to lol.And recently like last year when wal mart came out with all of their cartoon character hoodies n sweats that are matching sets I began buying the sweats to go along with the hoodie. My first set was the bright pink Barbie one and it still has the tags on it I haven’t worn it cause I’m scared to get it dirty lol
@ aww that sucks try looking at other Walmarts or online cause sometimes I would go to one and find the sweats then have to go to another to buy the hoodie that went with it
It's such a pleasure listening to you! I, too, am often a first class passenger in the struggle bus 😂 The sweatshirt one was my favourite! It really showcases your strenghts as an artist. ✨ (As a sidenote, I was amazed at your sweatshirt collection 😄 I own 3.) How did you start finishing your works with modpodge and alike? I haven't seen anybody else do it 😊
No new pencils are sharpened to a fine point when you get them, I think I saw someone say it was because they would be more likely to break in transit. I don't have as many sweatshirts as you, but I feel like I have too much. I just got 4 new (include 2 from Di's shop) and it is only now that I realize, I don't have anywhere to wear them to and therefore I don't need any. For work, I have nice clothing, I also go to football games, but I wear the team colors, so when on earth am I going to wear all the ones I have and the new ones I just bought? Oh yeah, I don't leave the house other than work and the football games. They seem too nice to wear around the house (it is also too hot at the moment for that).
Weird. Every set of colored pencils I've ever bought have been sharpened to a point except these ones. It's like double sweatshirt weather here. A bit chilly. 🥶
I've always used Prismacolor, but about a year ago, I tried Polychromos and WOAH. They're expensive but amazing. They're also oil based. I wonder how the Ohuhu ones compare? Maybe they're trying to compete with them for a lower price alternative?
Big question about the colored pencils : did you have any leads breaking while sharpening them or coloring with them ? I use Polychromos pencils from Faber Castell, they're expensive but good ! I buy them by piece, so I only take the colors I like.
I didn't. They did crumble a bit at the very tip if I pushed too hard, but I'm talking like less than a millimeter. But no breakage when I sharpened them.
I agree. You did an amazing job on the sweatshirts. You did an amazing job on everything but I particularly like the sweatshirts. They’re so cute!
🥰
I love the collection page. It just feels so cozy! ☺️
Thank you 🥰
My daughter also collects sweatshirts so this makes total sense to me. She has so many and most of them she never wears. She just has them folded up nice and neat in her closet pretty much on display.
I will say that I at least wear mine, but I have a pretty big heel collection that is basically a display. 😬

Very cute drawings! The Barbie one is nice but the sweatshirt one is my favorite! Another great video!,❤❤💕💕

I always had a few hoodies. But my crew neck collection is absurd now!
Totally feel you on the sweatshirt love. I would wear them constantly if i didnt live in such a god awfully warm state
It's been negative temps here so I'm wearing sweatshirts and sleeping with a heated bed sheet.
I was absolutely distraught when finding out that the monkeys were just brine shrimp what a crock of s$$t .Love the flea circus idea very cute
The scars of childhood....🤣

To answer the question you asked, yes I saw it, and yes I do, frequently. But, thinking is as far as I will go. Big hug
The sweatshirts were my favorite! Great Job!

Not sure about the trainer. 🤔 But eye highlights sure would've helped.
@RoseRequinCrafts You're quite welcome!! 🤗😍

rose, would ever consider doing a tutorial in creating highlights & shading?
I would definitely do that. Not sure I actually know what I'm doing though, lol
I think you did great on each prompt. 😃👍🏻
Thank you 🥰

I am not a Barbie fan but I loved your Barbie page. I think most midwesterners have sweatshirt hoards

How did you start finishing your works with modpodge and alike? I haven't seen anybody else do it 😊
I only do it for pages in the book because if they rub together the pencil will transfer everywhere.
I learned it from Moriah Elizabeth. 😀
what are the wax/based colored pencils you like best?
I really like Prismacolor pencils, either the Premier or the Scholar ones.
@ ty! jet ordered both!

i'm so glad you are using a ME product! i adore her stuff. have you tried her acrylics? heavenly texture and the palette is perfect for cute sharks!
Oh yes. I have 2 boxes of her paints. I love them!

Hmm, I'll have to try them out and compare. I have a set of Polychromos but I've only used them once or twice.
Big question about the colored pencils : did you have any leads breaking while sharpening them or coloring with them ?

I think you need Blender pencil to blend the colors❤(ps this is just a tip you don’t have to buy one)
I wonder if they make oil-based blender pencils...🤔
@@RoseRequinCraftsit never hurts to try🤷🏼♀️
