Tactical dice-rolling roguelike combat. Take control of 5 heroes, each with their own unique dice. Fight your way through 20 levels of monsters and try to take on the final boss. If you lose a single fight you have to start over so be careful (and lucky!).

The fact that the Dev even thought to include _more_ level ups after the cap, even generated ones, is wild, as evidenced by this vid.

51:35 You didn't finish your sentence here, so for any viewers: The "Sticky" keyword prevents rerolls once you've rolled a specific side, and Whirlpool spreads the keyword Shifting rolls each turn onto every side.
And just to finish the explanation, the "sticky" was a random keyword from the "shifter" in the top slot. Also, if my understanding is correct, items don't apply retroactively. Whirlpool actually spread "shifter" to all sides and each side independently rolls a random keyword.

god i love this game. It has such a solid base to it, and then it has so much built in other modes and stuff like this just to have fun with
4 housecats and a healer has become one of my favourite ways to run this game.
Ooh! I'd love to see runs like this with the different character archetypes too! Like red's vitality rolls wouldn't let anyone die at all lol

I now imagine how that would look like, A LITERAL GODLY BEING with just 4 cats following him around, and the fact that one of those cats while being vulnerable HAS THE POWER OF THE GOD, is just a cherry on top of the cake

This is my favorite way to play. Had a run today with Pockets as my 5th and got a random Tainted, my t4 curse was all odd number pip sides are single use. Killed my run completely.

NGL, I was expecting him to have one of those shifter items to end his run, having 3 kitties die (very feasible), so everything he has get cantrip and then shifter changes to something like guilt or pain and poof game over 🤣🤣
I almost beat nightmare mode with a full on cantrip build, the decay sigil destroyed me tho

You should do a green character only team, think of the chaos, especially when at level three you get stuff like the twin and the statue.
I copied this built and all went well until the final Boss turned out to be The Hand and the very first attack he rolled was slay the top hero :D Still managed to win that Hard mode but just barely, amazing build and tech.
Truly god-tier items. Orange is strong for this, but Ive still seen these go wrong. Like 9x Slate without dispel lol

Super new to this game! I unlocked the mode where you can pick your characters, but how do I unlock the cat hero?

the copycat skills are good as they can copy the cleave of the cats scratch
probably safer to not put the main character at the top spot in case you run into that one boss.
i had to fight multiples of him in one game mode, couldn't really deal with that

Creative is mods. There one that gives you 0 rerolls so it became an autobattler.

Tell any I found that level 8 to 9 on a hero has been a little bit of a downgrade. I've done this type of run a couple times and I think both of those times I opted to skip the upgrade because it was so good. I'm excited to see what happens when you get past 9
