Tactical dice-rolling roguelike combat. Take control of 5 heroes, each with their own unique dice. Fight your way through 20 levels of monsters and try to take on the final boss. If you lose a single fight you have to start over so be careful (and lucky!).

One thing about Hexia - her attack reflection is actually on-hit effect. Strong melee character with shining bow or triple shuriken works pretty well in that final encounter.
Had a wizard leader build where the wizard had an item that gave his power boost wand 2 extra pips. The leader had the duplicate dice face and an item that gives damage side 5 shield. with Good RNG, every character gets 5 dmg and 5 shield every turn. Been having a blast with this game! Thank you for introducing this game to me!
Had a great run before watching this too. My first hard mode victory with artificer equipped with mushroom and crystalline? The artificer side has +1 to all pip and decay (mushroom) and the crystalline gives stasis (dice face CANNOT CHANGE) to artificer that has A LOT of single use plus the decay. With warlock? (Guy that has 13 damage spell) that has silk cape ( copy left side to entire row) which is the bloodlust( VERY compatible with artificer spell [2 damage to all enemies]) side plus the beam (7 damage single use) item and Chronos reuse. Currently the best mage build that DESTROY The inevitable in Two turn, And yeah... Hope it goes well in nightmare ( I don't think it will).
I know you're not a fan of endless modes, but I think you'd have a blast with a blursed run. You reset heroes every 20 levels, so it feels like a fresh run every time. You could make a series of it. Just a thought. Love your videos!
My favorite mode used to be blursed but then they added blurtra
i woulda taken the mushroom if only to save on brainpower with the cursed item

my favorite thing about the trapper (and other rogue's with insta-kill sides) is that it pierces through immunity

Raid mode is super fun and quite the puzzle to play! And a nice segue into nightmare if you'd ever want to tackle it, I've tried it; it's certainly difficult but doable I think.
Vitality works on shields actually, super useful in a party without a healer
It works, but it gives empty max hp.. which is almost useless without healing
It gives empty max HP, which is actively _not_ useful in a party without a healer, hence why I said that.

The cursed modes are more like streaking runs keeping only the curses and blessings you picked up so far. In regards to heroes and items it's a reset each time. It's also quite challenging once the curses start stacking up, you need both luck and good decisions on every run to keep it going. The only reason cursed modes wouldn't make good short series is the potential anticlimax when the last run can easily end before fight 6 because new heroes, no items and many curses.
Also blessings are fun!

retro, you say "rerolling a level 1 is a waste" but isnt the whole thing that it would reroll the class, I.E. a yellow could turn into a red
every single time I've done it I have gotten the same class, so either I'm incredibly unlucky or no.
it rerolls into a different hero of the same color so no you shouldn't be getting different colors
@@Retromation i guess it refers to each character as a class, and the colour as something else, wich means the house cat is a class and not a character, this requires some more questioning of my own cat as to why its not as good as the housecat in slice and dice
