hello sir. i will do the DIY ceramic coating to my motorcycle sir, what is the step by step procedure in preparation sir untill applying sir?
Hi there, it would be rather difficult to get into details of every step, but in general, you would need to prewash, wash, remove tar, remove iron fallout, clay, degrease, polish, degrease again. Then you can apply the coating.
is there a curing time for this?
It is alway recommended not to let water touch it for around 24 hours and no chemicals for 1 week, for best results.
If i want to add more layer, do i need 24 hr? And still using water for moisture? Because typically nano ceramics cant get water in 7 days after using, get confused with this product
According to the instructions, you can apply a second layer after 2 hours. It doesn't specify it, but I suppose, for the 2nd layer too you need to use water. Normally the other SiO2 products mention no water contact for 24 hrs and no chemical wash for 7 days. However other SiO2 products are "activated" by water. I suppose, the general rule about the water is to avoid washing the product off. But here, you only use a very small quantity of water.

@@OCDaddyZsolt eh once again, is it necessary to use kisho 701 as base coating/1st layer, than 901 as 2nd layer? In your video, you using 701 as 1st layer? Thank you
@@kakawibisana7993 In this video, the 701 was applied already. There is a link in the description to the 701 application (on another car). In this, I applied the 901, on the top of the 701. I don’t know if it is a must, but seen the manufacturer recommending 701, then 901 on it.

Hiya, good question. For the glass, I wouldn't do it, there is the Kisho G-01 made for that. And about the trimmings, only if those are painted and having clear coat, otherwise on the textured plastics might not be the best idea.

It’s distilled/de-ionised water. Just pure water, with no minerals.
The Japanese coatings are the best…hands down! I used TRIZ once and nothing out there compares to the slickness of it.
It’s not cheap and durability is only about 3 months but it’s the best detail spray.
👍 So far I’m very happy with this Kisho coating. Even now it holds, almost like on day 1.
