I'm a BIG fan of OHTO!!! Have a lot of their mechanical and drafting pencils!!

Their ceramic refill is great. I have used them for years. Rubber grips put me off because they deteriorate and as they oxidize, they become sticky.
Hit many of the points I have. Ohto, like Kyocera makes great rollerball refills, but their pens miss the mark.
    Great review !

Love to see a video on which pens accept the Ohto Ceramic refil. Jetpens has an extensive list of pens that accept this refil. My two Twisted Turn pens are on the list. Also, if any mods are needed to fit other pens.

I have been trying to get my hands on these for over a year now. Missed them when Jetpens had them in stock. I love the Ohto Dude line of capped rollerballs. Quick question. Do you think they would take a pentel energel refill?

I have the urban camo model. I was a little disappointed in this pen because the tip diameter is too small for some of my refills.

Curious what you'd think about the Ohto MF-20k3B (or A, same body different grip). Got a silver one for $17 and it feels like a nice cheaper rotoring 3 in 1 (Hex body, knurled grip, slim-ish profile, brass body though ~30% lighter).

since the rollerbals are waterbased ink pens, i have two questions: 1) what do you think about those rollerbals that use cartridges/converters (e.g. herbin) or even have own pistons for refilling? 2) why use any rollerball at all, if there're lots of awesome fountain pens with magic nibs? i look at rollerball pen that uses replacable refill as if it's just an empty pen body with a cap where i can put gel or even oil based refill

Does this Ohto ceramic rollerball refill not fit pens that take Pilot G2 refills? Seems they are both Euro rollerball refill size.

This seems to me like some sort of Pilot Metro rollerball competitor, or my favourite Faber-Castell Hexo rollerball. What would be a major hurdle for me is Ohto refill, which I cannot but at retail, unlike Pilot G2 or Schmidt refill these two rolerballs use. I used to have Zoom 505 and finding a refill was almost impossible. Yes, you can but it online but it costs like a whole new pen, when you add VAT and shipping into it. Plus i really, really like my Hexo.

Yes pilot metro is a great comparison as well. I always forgot it has a rollerball version

Wasn’t really planning on spending the money to get another but I’ll think about it if there are more requests. Thanks
