    I found one of these Lasko box fans put out as trash because one blade had broken off. Other than that, it looks like a new fan and blows really well. I also found another older fan that doesn't work at all. It has no grill and no electric cord but the blades are fine on it. I think I'll see if I can use the blades on it to repair the Lasko fan. I had NO idea how to do that! So...thanks for the video! Wish me luck!

    That was wicked useful! I thought I had to disassemble the whole thing, but just a few screws and pop it off! Brilliant!

    Thanks a bunch. I just took a good fan blade off of a non working fan and installed it into a working fan with a broken blade. I knew it could be done but didn’t know how to remove the blade safely without breaking it. Now I have a cool 😉 black and white fan.

    Thanks, I'm trying to teach my 20 year old brother that it's actually possible to fix something as easy as a fan, (the blade)

    Thank you. Very helpful. I was pulling off the old, broken blade and wanted to make sure I was doing it right. It's easy to see why the blades break so easily. Mine fell out of a window while it was running and that is what caused one of the blades to break off all the way down to the hub of the blade. They did not used to be so flimsy. I had one for many years that fell down from time to time without any problem. This one broke one the first fall.

    My 20" Lasko box fan like the one in the video, fell over and the blade just disintegrated. I would like to replace the blade but the part costs nearly as much as I paid for the fan on sale. If I can't find the blade for $4-5 I will just get a new one when they go on sale in the fall. Last fall, I got one for $17.

    4:14 I use a clamp from Amazon and make sure it tightly grips the fan so I can pull the blade out (probably didn't work but yea)

Do you also say Deborah for the word debris like your debris like we have to go pick up some Deborah LOL I got to go to bed I'm obviously too tired

    These fans are crap, they fall and break when put on high speed

    • @nonelost1
      @nonelost1 3 года назад

      If they fall over, it’s either because the blade is out of balance(busted), or they are missing their feet. I have one 20 inch box fan in which I use clothes pins for feet. They work fine.
