The lawn mower is quite simple, but the efficiency is excellent.

Sounds like your carriage traverler is stripped out. You have to take down the opener, remove the carriage, and there is a piece that mates with the screw. The grooves are probably all stripped off. When that happens then the carriage does not mesh with tbe rotating screw as good as it used to, and then it starts slipping. That is why you are able pull the door up or down with the emergency pull cord still engaged. Would you care to sell me one of those dead pro 88 units? All i neec is the motor head with cover, and light lens. All you would have to do is take a good hacksaw, and cut off the rail and screw assembly about 2 inches from front of light lens, do y cut the spot where its bolted to tbe front of motor though. I have pay pal account and can pay you for the motor head plus shipping.

As long as the black cover is still in tact. I think you have a stuck relay on the board thats why it just kerps running. There are 3 litgle boxes on the board, one is for light, one is for down travel, and one for up travel. If you want to saw off the rail, and sell me the power head as id love to have this opener in my collection thats if you still have it, and want to get rid of it. Let me know. Thsnks.
