Fr I love games like this that get no updates but are just fun and are still played decades after they released like street fighter 3 and 4, smash melee, marvel vs Capcom, classic versions of some MMORPG's, Titanfall, Minecraft 1.8, and of course old Mario and Sonic games, these are the greatest games, I hate when live service games go to far, like Fortnite, the game feels unrecognizable compared to when I started and there is no way to go play the older versions and it's worse with something like overwatch that stopped letting people download or buy the first game, I never played overwatch 1 and I had a blast with the sequel so I wanted to buy the first but could not and was really disappointed not being able to try really different characters like doom fist in ow1 and I hope no one else copies overwatch, what they did was stupid

As someone who has been around to see almost every stage of youtube machinima/SFM history, I'd like to make note that this video in and of itself is the culmination of years and years of constant work. Not just for Kostamoinen, but all the people who kept source-based animation making alive as a practice - thousands of amazingly creative people sharing techniques and improvements... and a few even helping develop/modify new technologies for this purpose as well! To see this go from youtube poops with crudely cut voice clips and stop-motion level animation all the way to almost 100% natural (even when not using custom lines) speech with completely fluid movement has been more than satisfying. Stellar work, everyone!
