Lucas survives a lethal strike every time he swears lmao
The lethal strike being youtube demonetization
Glad you brought up I’ll Be Bug
That’s the first stage that made me truly realize boss hp doesn’t always matter. Killing Professor A ASAP is much more important than killing the bug
it seems like it more depends on what kind of stage it is, or more specifically, if the boss is "main threat" (like kappy) or "backline support" (like queen v)
in the former, it probably is based on boss%, but in the latter, it's more dependent on peons
I'd also say the same for most crazed/manics
crazed/manic cat, tank, axe, bird and titan all fall into the "main threat" category
gross, cow, fish and lizard all go into the other
@@Foolish_Spoon eh, crazed lizard can push pretty hard sometimes, but yea I'd agree
Cow, fish and gross don't have a proper boss@@Foolish_Spoon
@@DecidiousGreenslizards boss% doesn't even work properly: there's multiple lizards and none of them are the boss: a random peon is (to be more specific, a 100% magnification snache is the "boss")
You may be true, but I still get trauma over seeing manic jamiera hp at 2% after he lands 6 waves in a row
I got 1% on lil eraser after battling him for like an hour on 2x speed up, was tilted as fuck for the entire day
“The dementia attacks again”
Bro was too savage 💀
Ponos: Why don't we show how much boss' hp left to encourage them spend cat food for continue?
Also Ponos: Let's spam " no continue" on every stage
Kappy Jr would be so free if I could just spam continues
I've always found it quite strange that in battle cats, what truly makes a boss fight challenging is almost never the boss itself, but the peons that are supporting it: if it wasn't for them, almost any boss could just be stalled indefinitely with the right units, and it would be a guaranteed win as you could slowly chip them down. And this doesn't just apply to ld bosses that need a cancerous enemy to cover their blindspot (h nah and sunfish with mina, sleipnir with angel clionel, professor a with relic bee, etc), but in general: realm of carnage would be a joke without the r ost, tower bosses always have random bs trying to mess you up and make you lose focus, the main gimmick of filibuster is that you need to somehow damage the boss despite the other enemies blocking your way, etc. I just think battle cats has a really unique approach when it comes to creating boss fights
yea most bosses would die pretty easily if there was no peons or extra protection
Queen bee is a good example for this
The tower bosses are the closest to being an exception to this trend being some of the hardest to stall period. Hence why their peons are of the smallest kind
Probably one of the best examples of “exhausting the peons” is in King Wahwah’s Revenge stage Revenge of the Dogelord. Once you defeat the intense wave of peons a couple minutes in, the number of peons significantly decreases after about a minute or two of dealing with the intense wave of peons. So, for example, if you die near the end of the intense wave of peons, then that just means you need to hold said peons off (and Wahwah of course) for just a little bit longer in order for the stage to be easily winnable. Because once the intense wave of peons is dealt with, then, assuming Wahwah is not actively destroying your base, you’ve basically already won.
The big level that made me realize this is the last Kapy Kawano stage. I can consistently beat Kawano and sometimes Jr. too, but the enemies by that point have pushed me so far back that the Golem fish snipes my base enough to make me lose anyway.
I think this is the case where it like semi-matters cause if kawano is low enough you can push him back and win still
When the 32nd floor strategy (in both towers) is about pushing the two Manic Erasers the boss hp doesn't matter
I feel like advent stages are the ones that teach you the best about when boss hp matters, since a lot of stages have the boss as support le daboo, queen v and relic bee, an hannya(if you can survive the initial bore+r.ost cycle you usually win)
5:28 gravolodon and ganglion are wah wah's worst nightmare, they carried the level for me
Can't forget when stages make the boss percent be the doge base or surge base or whatever. You'll be destroying a boss and you'll think you're so close to killing it just for it to say 100% left cause you never hit the base
I feel like this is relevant to HT Floor 30 since it’s very easy to get hermit to around 50-60%, but the challenge has barely begun as the peons begin to overlap far more which becomes quite rough and harder to continue enduring when you have to juggle the tankier ones and kill them quick enough so hermit still gets triggered by meatshields without pushing to the base.
Even if not that important we could all agree that 1% Boss HP left provokes strong emotions every single time lol
Hitman Jumpscare
“Bro the boss is one shot i swear !”
The boss :
Holy shit he's playing Phyrnna's music from EBF. I love you Lucas
True, just depends on how the stage works. Most bosses aren't that threatening if they have no support. If you cen deal with the main waves of peons, you can mostly likely beat the stage
I always see the remaining boss hp less so as a way to demoralize my progress, which is advent enough in my strategy or loadout not being up to par for a stage.
I see it as "What did I do wrong?" Or "what can I do differently here?" And go from there.
For example, rather than spam my meatshields mindlessly, time it in a way that allows my money to rack up mire efficiently for powerful backliners like King Dragon, Manic King Dragon, Slapstick, etc...
Or ubers/legend rares that excell in single or area dps.
99.999 zillion percent health

Another stage is the jgando boss where you can kill the 3 aku bears and you basically win because you can perma stall jgando.
as a battle cats player for 7 years it terrifies me that im only JUST finding out about the truth of boss percentage??
(btw for anyone thats wondering, im at ul 44)
@@cherrydied6798what?? I play only for 4-5 years and i finished whole ul (starred too)
@@Darktanyanwhat the
@@Darktanyan oh about that ive had many other saves get corrupted and lost (including one around ul 30~40) so thats mostly why im not done with ul
@@cherrydied6798probably cuz we would've had to wait for them to release when he could do it all at once
New BC players about to spend 300 catfoods to get crazed axe
Saw someone on Reddit say they spent 500+ cat food on crazed fish just to get killed by assassin bear
I don’t think they even beaten EOC Moon 3 yet…
@@OneSmallBossI feel better about the 150 I used on craze fish
@@mr.jitterspam9552 same
One time I bought a new phone, and it automatically transferred my battle cats data from one phone to another, but it didn’t really transfer it, because I had the same data on both my new and old phone, until I realized that they were two different saves, but they had the exact same units and everything
A good example of this is ogre island (manic fish)
If you kill beserk kory it doesn’t mean you win you can still get fucked up to brollows or island stacking behind base
Okame’s tea house is another great example. After you kill all the peons you can just infinitely stall the boss with roe cat😅
This guy really has made me understand battle cats more
I feel like whenever I see the percentage it just discourages me
relic bun is killing my mental
if you got modern you can beat him
@@shrek9025seriously, I won't understand why people go headfirst to mechabun without preparing with Anti relic units
@@mr.jitterspam9552because the level cap upgrade is great and grinding is annoying.
Cyberstacck and use rodeo and omneoji
its funny with the example at the beginning cuz when i was playing daboo i (with the normal strategy) got 61% and then i used my oen strat with courier and daboo was dead
lucas saying "Nah, I'd win" in the description made my day
there are some stages where it does matter like heavenly tower bosses.
can't think of anything else tho
There was a time where I tried a hard stage and tried it multiple times and every time the boss health was 100% but just one attempt later and I beated the stage. It was the great diablo btw + wrath of carnage it took way too many tries to beat it but hey I did
Cheesing: ello govner.
Rushing: hehehehehehe
Knocking the boss back to the base: MUAHAHAHAHAH
The fucking overbuffed peons: YOU FOOL!

I just finished sol and the metal one horn from growing epic is beating my ass a lot of times cus my tornado and catasaurs are simps for any non metal(what is the boss of that stage anyways)
If you want to beat my stage, you’ll have to beat my 7 evil peons first
Nice vid 👍
Seeing the video title I don’t think so stacks are better
just got luza to 1%, pain.
if only i did one more can can hit to luza it wouldnt of murdered me with sir rel wave overwhelming me considering it killed my units then came
i am NEVER fighting the zories and zeal wave
im 100% gonna try to kill daboo before those three appear
What outcat you want?
The first stage I finally realised this on, was the Big Bang on CoTC chpt 1. I killed cat god, and the star pengs killed me, and that was the moment I realised that the boss isn’t really the clear condition most of the time.
LOLL the infinite pengs of doom
Star peng are not even that hard to deal with
@@Enter_a_name69 it was earlier in the game when I was being a dumbass, and tried to beat cat god without treasures.
its not about the size of the boss percentage it's how you use it
I’m very excited for season 2 episode 7 the nightmare swamp
Gonna be the Best fight in anime history
The boss percentage is just makes want to cry, like your on 1% or 100% it would make me cry that i did not do alot of dmg or your close but i did not time idi/A baha
After watch the video is inspired me to do Kappy sr. Stages
And Actually beat it when i killed all peons while boss still alive the boss can't do anything or push to my base
amen 🙏
yes it does
I'm not the only one constantly confusing the names ScissorX and Scissoroo together!
This is very much true that you really need to deal with the peons , not the boss.
With the Hannya And Clionel ( Floor 46 )
You have to deal with the Gory Blacks , in order to win the stage.
don't even get me started on surge base/doge base stages
The surge base is the boss
Crustaceous scissorex
Next episode make it so everytime you swears you deal savage blow
Boss percentage is just boss percentage i didnt think it was anything else
Plus half the time it doesnt matter because the boss of the stage is a squirrel and not the million health think behind it
No shit sherlock
The only win condition that matters in late game is Courier 🙏 and Naala when you unlock TF I guess but Courier supremacy reigns eternal
Yup, that's why it's boss percentage, not stage percentage
I'm also surprised that Filibuster wasn't mentioned, I think he's the biggest example of this since 99% of the time you destroy the base before actually killing him.
Cute dolphin 64
Boss HP: 99 Tevillion%
This is fine
I love boss percentage ‼️‼️
I'll be bug syndrome
Lucas from now on trying to swear less in order to put less work on survive sound as censors.

Depends. If the boss is the main threat, it does matter. But if it's just a garbage boss with crazy magnification peons, then it doesn't matter. Pretty obvious to be honest
