Hey some battle cats lore/speculation:
- The secret lab that the colossal enemies were created/experimented on is the Laboratory of Relics (look at JJackrabbit JP desc)
- This lab is also where idi is found and her enemy form has a green like stone that is similar to the black baron stones
- Idi is also implied to be an egg unit due to her having the 002 id
Conclusion: Idi is connected to both Colossus and Eggs, which could give us an idea of what her possible awakening stage/true form could be
My speculation? Possible Idi awakening stage enemy will be Relic/Colossus trait boss, peons may also be colossus enemies. Her true form will require stage clear, behemoth stones, or both (as seen with Mecha Bun) Her true form? Most likely behemoth slayer because she is an egg unit, which would make her a bit better than Bahamut in terms of behemoth killing.

Things to like about Megamooth:

- Megamooth comes from mooth, the best floating enemy because he helps

- I hate hippos

- Has 400% Tackey what the fuck
I remembered a while after this stream we got Super Hyppoh up and I tried it just to refresh my memory, and I could not even stall Hyppoh alone. Not without cyberstacking. From level 1.
I hate Super Hippoh because of the 400% Tackeys and the sheer strenght of the baron, he pushes too hard, and Tackey messes up your normal Eraser. And yes, I have Dasli but I REFUSE to use her, I only used her on Procrastinator Parade, which I think is fair

My biggest gripe for colossal gauntlet is how they are making the ubers meant to “counter” the bosses and them not being good half the time. It’s neat they added a new sub trait but most of these ubers don’t even really do their jobs correctly. Like Terun and Le Fish are solid ubers but then ya got the pixie who can’t work against either of her traits colossal enemies.
I know they suffer from having to be good vs the traits in general AND having to be good vs their specific bosses, but man does it such having to wait for TF and talents to make em viable.
OMG, I'm so glad you said Colossals are legitimately difficult. I felt like I must be rubbish at strategy or something, because I struggle with the Colossal gauntlets from around the halfway point onwards despite being a late game player with really good Ubers. I've kind of stopped bothering with them because I simply don't find that level of difficulty fun, and the drop rewards aren't enticing enough. I hope that one day I'm able to get through them just for the sake of the Meow Medals they give. Also, I definitely agree that they should be on for more than a week - given that at least half the levels will require multiple attempts, a week is reaaaally not long enough to get through them unless you play the game absolutely LOADS.
honestly my biggest gripe with colossal gauntlets (and unrelated but infernal tower too) is just that the rewards for like 80% of the event just aren't worth it.
like, nobody cares about 5 of each base material, half a million xp, and 3 silver tickets.
i used to like messier's assault because it dropped big rewards towards the end (5 epic seeds, 3 rare tickets, and 3 leaderships if i remember correctly). but they changed it recently to be more or less the same as the other gauntlets
Atleast with Infernal tower you can just Cherry pick the stages that Drop Catseyes + any other recourse you might need (though obviously Heavenly tower is better in this regard since the rewards are always the same meaning you can safely skip stages that drop bricks or something stupid like that)

Actually the main purpose of barons are the ability orbs that you can get to boost some of your units against their trait (only the ability orbs matter, atk and def orbs are almost useless no matter the trait) but I def see your point still stand, because bosses like baron hyppoh have completely useless ability orbs for a non Uber player and even for Ubers the selection isn’t much better. A good reward selection example would be mega moth bc each has a respective beneficiary for the ability orbs: camera for strong, octo for resist, and fishman for massive damage (cataur if also an option for the ladder, but you are better off going for zompeng, if you want to give cataur good massive damage orbs)
@@christopherdangelo1292 the shitty part is that you still need to win about 13 stages before you will be able to properly farm the orbs, everytime, like ponos ffs make a checkpoint every 5 stages or smth
The only Collosal gauntlet i can recommend mid/late game players doing is Collosal Legrimm because that one is just free if you have Bomber cat with freeze up combos.
Also it drops an epic seed at lvl 19 which is one of the only ways to get epic seed pre-UL.

and it doesn't even matter at this point because now the only way to get dark catseyes when not playing the labrynth is by beating the last stage of baron gauntlets. great.
Did you know that the only thing they fear is you canonically plays whenever baron hyppoh spawns at lvl max?
if ponos could do that without a ton of copyright stuff getting in the way, that would be awesome

colossal: same as monthly, but big orby bois, squeezed into 1 map, and talent orbs instead of shards.
event: literally everything else/the boring stuff.

I think variant is a better term for the colossal enemies with reference to the normal enemies they’re based on. Reskin implies almost identical stats
One of the best units for Colossals has been Metal Cat for me. It takes 12 hits no matter the magnifications (except for the big peng z).
Along with Cyperpunk and Sniper Deadeye, you got a really nice core to take on barons, despite extreme magnifications.
When other people talk about sponsors it's all the same but very few people like lucas make it actually interesting and fun. Good job ,good luck and keep going.
Colossal gauntlets dropping construction materials is an freakin insult
The worst thing is, is that how shitty the rewards are in colossals, and how you have to play 20 stages to get the rewards, also now that dark catseye exist in JP this means that you need to play colossal to get them, and since ponos counters power creep by boosting enemies, we will now need to play colossals to get them to be able to fight the newer stages

Tip for returner mode: saki is great for relic bun stages, she cheeses the base on 4/6 of them, and is great for the support enemies(they’re alien backliners lmao) on the 6th one. But yeah, no one wants to fight 6m hp relic bun
The worst part about Colossal Gauntlet is that it's supposed to be a farming stages. Yet it is brutally hard and time-consuming. And the rewards isn't even that great.

Something i don't understand is why catamin As can't give you two tries, technically they cut 1 hour of waiting time, but with gauntlets, they just cut half an hour

As a mid game player (End-Cotc 1 Sol 29) I haven't been able to get very far in any of the barons (not counting the actual monthly gauntlet stages which are very easy). So hearing your oppinion on this will definitely be very interesting!

Baron seal was HELL. I did a bunch of tries with a lot of crowd control ubers and still got pushed hard (used I think raiden, talented peach devils etc.) also had cyberpunk for more control. I just couldn't complete it after a ton of tries until I brought my benkei, for peons...
After that I haven't even wanted to play barons
I got some suggestion for colossal stages
1) make catamin deduct 30 mins from the counter instead of only 1 clear. Cause like sometimes it takes 5 min to clear and the catamin only take away the 25min
2) Have like a checkpoint like the HT and IT

I know that dasli's dps is her main draw, but I don't understand why everyone shits on her curse. It's a lot stronger than most people give it credit for. All barons get destroyed by her specifically because they all have some ability that makes them annoying, for Exiel, it's warp, for seal, it's freeze. But none of it matters to dasli because they no longer have it when she's on the field, she makes most colossals easy. The exception is le grimm. he outranges her and kills her very quickly.
who in the world cares about seal's freeze LOL I didn't even point out his freeze when I talked about seal because I didnt even remember him having it at the first place when he kills absolutely everything he touched anyways. Also exiel's warp isnt that crazy either especially when, if anything, the warp helps octopus and dancer survive longer if you bring them

I wonder if anyone would be willing to do Super Hyppoh with no alien treasures. At max it would have 17,640,000 Hp and 315,000 attack (286,363 Dps), would be interesting to see how people would beat it (Absolute nightmare fuel though).
That is totally what discourages me from doing the Colossal Gauntlets.
You get 2 weeks to do 10 Stages for the Monthly Gauntles, but only 1 week to do 20 Stages?
Like what the hell?! That's litteraly quadruple work on much harder stages! And the cooldown doesn't help.
I'll only do them once to get the Medal, but then never again. I'll get Talent Orbs elsewhere.

Honestly I miss when gauntlets were 60 levels more rewards + you only had to play 20 levels ( the same as current) to get more rare tickets than the current level (also more leaderships and catfood)

The farthest baron i have ever reached is baron XL's blessing lvl 16-17 and this is with goddamn benkei and peach devils yet i still struggle cuz the gories magically disappears my meatshields
Barons are...interesting....to say the least. If there’s one thing I don’t like it’s the fact that they’re now a farming stage. The drops are pretty good, but you have to play the whole, thing and it just takes way too much time. Fight me, but exp colloseum is still my all time favorite farming stage by FAR
It’s crazy how I’m a super late game player currently waiting on the next update for more content and I still can’t clear Horrorpotamus. It’s the only Colossal Gauntlet I haven’t beaten yet

@Panda Angry I mean I’ve beaten horrorpotamus since I made this comment, but my point is you shouldn’t have to rely on legend rare carry to beat a baron. Besides, with this past update, the Island of Hidden Treasure map is infinitely better than farming baron stages for talent orbs. I’ve already gotten S tier metal defense orbs for all my crit units with talents (and there’s no metal baron stage to farm anyway)

Right now we have summer break cats and i would removed the could down from this event because farming nets is time consuming and the event doesn't have anything cool to offer and it stays up to 41 days with one gountlet i don't understand why PONOS made summer break cats like this
my most hated gauntlets is where boss spawns on a very short times (you can't cheese it)

the monthly gauntlets i only do for the platinum shard
Even with a week, only needing to do 3 stages a day, most of the time I don't do 20 just because of how boring the collosals are

I'm a returning player that is extremely late game and great know I'll have to use all my uberfest ubers to steamroll these colossal gauntlets
I like Baron Gauntlets a lot as a pinnacle activity for end game players. Being able to push certain units to the limit with Talent orbs is really cool, the only issue I have is that Talent Orbs as a mechanic in general feel really limited. Also there’s barely any eligible units for some of the specialty ones that drop from Barons, to the point that when I farmed up an S Rank Strong v Angel orb I slapped it on Lil Axe cause who else is gonna take it?

As a Lvl. Max Colossal hunter.....the orb farming is the least interesting thing the whole game has to offer to anybody who dares grind Lvl. Max stages. You spend way too much energy, you get stressed and by the end of the EX stage, you barely get a D-grade orb.....Booooring

Notice how guides and unit reviews NEVER mention talent orbs? Yeah… we need a better reward for completing what is essentially starred UL on crack
tbh the main reason why guides dont use talent orbs is because its even more specific in usage than talents and is harder to replicate
@@LucasIVYT that’s fair. Imagine if baron stages just straight up gave you NP. We don’t have a reliable way to farm it and I think the difficulty of the stages would be a fair balance for the ability to farm a more rare resource. I feel like they’d have to limit the reward to only the first clear until the stage comes around again

colossal gauntlets really need better rewards, theres almost no reason to replay them since talent orbs are pretty meh
yeah, dkasli carries *hard* on these stages, as the barons have either annoying cc abilities (like Baron Seal's weaken) or absolutely disgusting cc abilities (like Archangel Exiel's warp ability; is there any anti-angel that doesn't get warped???). she also helps juggle the support units, as a lot of them tend to have lots of knockbacks (angel/black gory, black doge, black kangaroo, etc), helping to reduce the battering your frontline takes.

I can do max lv of every baron so far with relative ease. Im UR 18k+. This is the kinda lategame it takes to deal with this shit. Tho from my experience 3 star UL has some stages harder than any of the barons.

Finally beat my first baron stage. Granted it was megamooth (arguably the weakest baron in the game) and I had to use mitama and Krystal kuu (iron legions legend rare, but win is win
mega mooth absolutely is not one of the weakest lmao, the boosted zombies and prof.a is stupid crazy without specific ubers. Muu absolutely hard carried you, normally mega mooth is one of the most headache-inducing up there with super hyppoh.

@@LucasIVYT unlike super hyppoh tho the ability orb drops for mooth are accurate good: hyppoh only has chill for massive damage orb and almost nothing for the strong orb and resist orb, while mooth has fishman for massive damage, camera for strong, and octo for resist orb
