You must be dreaming- the majority of people here doesn’t even know what is going on here and will not discuss anything that is stressful to them, only present conversation is allowed.
All the western countries have the same issues with government (all the heads are WEF) and people have to rise up against this tyranny. Do what you can, write letters to every single member of Parliament everyday about the things you’re concerned about and get everyone you know to do the same. Start a petition and get as many signatures as you can and send it to parliament. Peaceful protests, do something other than sit back and watch your country be destroyed along with your life. You’d be surprised at how easy it is to get a mass amount of letters pouring into Parliament and each of them must read them. I’m in Canada and that’s what many of us have been doing and making some progress.

Aussies had their heads screwed on when they voted against having The Voice entered into its Constitution (against all the odds) not so long ago - it came as a shock to Albanese and his cohorts, as he’d spent a huge amount of time and money in his early time in office telling lies and promoting it. My wife and I were in the car last week when the radio reported on a comment he made where he said "freedom of expression" was important; but he essentially I got the gist that we (Australians) don't deserve free speech or to have autonomy of what we see or hear.

Amusingly, the sort of people who would be fooled by such a blatantly labelled Parody account (as in, believing it was Albo's legit account) are the people such restrictions are being made for.
To protect those too gullible and lazy to know the difference between outright lies, bent & half truths to suit a narrative and the factual information itself.

Same problem as the U.S in that there's no opposition, it's a uniparty and independents and smaller political parties can never come to power due to the voting system, but Australia has turned hard left and put its foot down, they had a national referendum on some indigenous issue which was easily rejected by the vote so instead of doing it federally they are going ahead with it at a state level, lol it doesn't matter what the population wants the Gov does whatever it wants and flaunts it.
The world as a whole could do a lot better.

Agreed. We humans, all of us, are fallible and our knowledge is imperfect and limited. None of us have a right to make ourselves the ultimate arbiters of truth and to censor those who disagree with us.
Those who want to censor others are usually the ones with the most untrustworthy opinions, because their goals usually have to do with power and control, not a sincere search for the truth.
