When my son was that young, I let him cry for 15 minutes. If he was still crying, I'd go calm him and back down he went. I never had to go in a second time.
Nothing wrong with letting the boys cry for a little bit to fall alseep, I think it teaches them the start of independence, instead of having to co sleep or hold them while they go to sleep... don't worry about what people say about your parenting you two do a great job! I been cutting hair since I was 13 years young. Now I'm a grandmother of 5 my daughter cuts my haircut and her family's. Glad I passed down since she was 13. Our son never wanted to learn. My sister was 4 my mom would shut are doors at night my sister opened her door we had a fire 8 kids she didn’t make it out she passed. So always shut my kids door. You guys are amazing parents ❤❤

There nothing wrong with putting your children to bed at naps & bedtime & letting them cry or having screaming melt downs .just check on them every few minutes .or use a baby monitors .so u can see them even with maverick. I use to let my three cry their selfs to sleep .but of course I would check on them & also had baby monitors on them.

I never shut the kids bedroom doors. No reason for it. Also I wanted to make sure if fire I could get to my boys. I never shut my door.
I find keeping the east side window curtains closed in the morning and the west side closed in the afternoon helps keep it about ten degrees cooler.
