There's a subadult male and female that are white. I'm so happy to see they're doing well! The Birmingham pride has been very successful. Lovely to see them all together!💕🦁💕 And the young male that had an injury is still with them! I'm so glad he's healed. His injury was so severe. P.S. They're very scruffy from their last kill!😄

1323 V it is though pt that the Ross Males May have wanted him out of their territory. No one knows for sure but his right ( I think) back leg was severely injured. May have been broken. This happened around May. Very skinny for quite some time. Didn’t put weight on it for months....happy to see he’s walking on it. Surprised he hadn’t been kicked out by the Ross Males
@@Sunny-kn6th I am so happy that he's still with the pride. I don't think he can hunt for himself with that leg injury. I hope that he will stay long enough and leave with his three brothers. Otherwise, I don't think he can make it on his own with the injury.
Omg, the BH pride are all over full, happy to see both white cubs are doing great, and the white cubs have also white eye lash ! and for the BBH sub male, Hope he could find nice partner when he leaves the pride, as his back leg still limping
The Birmingham pride is so beautiful. That injured young fella has sure come a long way and his leg has healed nicely. The fact he hasn't been ousted from the pride yet shows me a level of compassion among lions that I didn't know existed, though I could be wrong and it has nothing to do with it.
It was inflicted by one of the dominant Males of the pride called the Ross brothers, they wanted him to leave the pride as he is way past the age now that he should have left. He was very badly injured. But the females of the pride still look after him and tolerate him being around atleast for now.
A couple months ago, the young injured male and the white female of the Birminghams became separated from the pride for a week or so by something like 10 kilometers. Out of the blue, they reappeared together. Following his struggle and improving limp has been a great story over this year. Hopefully, he can move on from this pride soon to be a normal adult Male lion. I think I heard on Wild Earth recently that the Ross males might be facing pressure from a group of rival younger males for control of the Birminghams which is what has pushed them into territory different than is normal for them lately. If new lions push out the Ross males, perhaps "Injured Young Male" will finally move on, maybe with a couple of younger brothers like the white male? It would be a strange team because he's so much older, but his limp has really improved immensely. Remains to be seen if he'll be able to make it as a quite old new bachelor male.
It didn't happen again males trying to dominate pride !! What happened is that Junior Matimba was in Ngala, but returned to his territory with the Mbiris lionesses. And the Mbiri males were in Ngala but it was on the trail of another Skorro Breakaway Pride

The injured young male is walking a bitter better since I last saw him in a video but he still looks restricted. I still worry that he cant move well enough to survive on his own? I've only seen him walk with a bad limp. Is he capable of running or moving faster than brisk walk?
He's doing a lot !! I always follow the pride, this time I'm surprised, he was not stepping on his paw or putting on weight. I'm happy. I think few expected this recovery !! He's going to make it ... And it's much bigger than before
