Just returned the Insta 360 pro 2, I will save you the headache, what a terrible experience this camera has been, nightmare of a work flow! My $500 Rylo shooting in 5.7k kicked it in the ass, Wi-Fi might as well not be included, always drops! And resolution, even with farsight system the resolution was trash! Spent 3 days trying out this camera only to return it with great disappointment! Paid $5600 for a product that’s all hype and doesn’t deliver, got it for live streaming events and did not pass the real life test! So don’t toot your horns guys!
@@lpiproductions I've had the same experience, I oversee individuals using about 20 of the Insta360 consumer cameras and they do better and include direction lock!
This camera is four years old. Is an Insta360 Pro 3 on the horizon? I'd hate to spend $5,000 only to find out that a new camera was only a few months from being released.
In camera stitching or is it required to use a computer to stitch the angles together for an 8K VR video? If you shoot non-3D then it uses only half of the cameras on the unit?
When will we get something like this to use in a live broadcast application? Real time image mapping like this would be a game changer not even in a VR experience but just to add a different dimension to the live broadcast experience. I’ve continued to search for this since DJ artist Excision realized his 2020 Thunderdome live experience on RUclips (which was all edited in post. nothing was done live) As a broadcast director I see so many applications in concerts, sports and house of worship, but we’re stuck waiting for the technology to catch up. For the insta 360 pro the easiest change would be switching the 6 SD card slots to SDI Or Wireless. The hard part is the hardware and software needed on the other end to process all the data real time.
Just found the NFL live stitching video. I’m gonna go have a party and tell all my friends and I’ll be back to place my order soon! Haha but for real tho this is a game changer! Thanks Insta360!
Hi George! Yes, we do have this option available while you do live-streaming. However, the final quality will depends on your Monitor - It must support 60fps to out put the 3840x2160 signal.
At that time it's expensive because of limited unit but it's small things because we just attached 6 camera in one boll and inside of boll one chip like in a mobile simple collect information and systems follow it So go seedly and sales your best technology in best rate like a Mobile
@insta360 It's mentioned that you can simply import into Premiere, as stitching in done in camera. My question is since it records on 6 SD cards, would I have to take out all 6 cards and import each file into Premiere? Or does the camera take the video from all 6 cards and then create a master file so I only need to import once? ALSO... if that's the case, can I import the file via wire to my PC without having to take out the/any SD card? Thank you - I am really close to pre-ordering this! (Oh... is there a release date??)
Most likely the users will be able to connect the Pro 2 to computer and export a folder includes all files from 1 SD card and 6 micro sd cards, and you can simply drag them into the software to edit.
You can record and Marge video with one single card bro Like in wedding so many camera but with the help of mixter (which help) you can eusy way to do it And give your best product as Gift price to world because technological never stop Make small profit and expand largest network of market

Hi there Dreams Multimedia. I'm genuinely disappointed to hear about your experience with Pro 2. I would have loved you to see the amazing potential and technological amazement of this camera without any of the hassles or headaches you had.
I’m not asking about this video but cannot get help with insta one 360 problem , it will only record for one minute then shuts off Do you know what I can do to stop this happening, thank you Steve
Hi there, we’re sorry that you’re experiencing technical issues. For better and more tailored assistance, please email us at service@insta360.com or go to www.insta360.com for online support :) our team will strive our best to help you.
It is made by a company called Gimbal Guru. But honestly, I'm not sure about this rover unless you're moving very slowly on a smooth surface. Also, Keep in mind your setup will be very top-heavy and the laws of physics risk the entire rig flipping over if you're not very careful. I'm still looking for a suitable rover at a price under $5K. If you find something please reply!
"If you use a bulky gimbal system you are gonna end up ruining your shot" Then the camera switches to a clip of the bloke with a pole sticking out of a back pack with a large camera the size of a small football attached to it. Lmao. Because thats not bulky much... It seems like a good product, but its not exactly a truely portable device like gopro, insta360 one etc.
Hi there, the Insta360 Pro 2 is a professional camera that's designed for bigger production. We appreciate your valuable feedback and we'll take your advice into consideration :) thanks for your support
All the respect in the world, if your expecting an Insta360 consumer camera on steroids like I was you are going to be disappointed. Not only in the camera but in the support as well. Insta360 has canned response for all support requests as it pertains to this camera, "we will forward your concerns to our support staff and R&D team" and it ends there. The driver for this camera hasn't had any updates in close to two years and the stitcher software in close to three. The footage on RUclips doesn't look much better then the consumer models like the One RS, and you have to be proficient wit Pr and Ae. The stabilization is useless because using it disables the direction lock so while your moving it it will only face in it's original direction. They do a great job avoiding this fact even to the point that they removed my question about it from their support forms. The footage from this camera can and will "pop" but the workflow is long and you must be proficient with Pr & Ae. I currently oversee the use of about 20 of the consumers level cameras from Onex - the One RS, this camera will not take you to the next level if you intend to move around with it, stick to the consumer cameras and save $4500.
gopro fusion caps out at 5k (ish) AND …. more importantly, doesn't record 3D... fusion is ONLY gorgeous 360 video. THIS device looks like it can record (4:25 time stamp) at 8k AND 3D using crystal view feature.... which is BONKERS! 360 video is a fad simply because its not as clear as one would like AND its still flat. if you can nearly DOUBLE the resolution AND make it a 3D video, this will ABSOLUTELY blow ANYTHING you're watching past your mind's receptors reminding you that its fake. THIS is what VR users have been waiting for!
8K 60fps instead of 6k 30fps. The prosumer cameras do not have 3D...and in a VR headset that's a real game changer. Included GPS, livestreaming capabilities etc. It is for professionals that make a lot of money with 360 videos, tours or livestreams. Thats why the price is that high. But in my opinion it's a bad joke, that a 4 year old camera still costs the same. 2.500€ max. worth currently imo.
@@johntheux9238 There are different levels of professional use depending on the job. Even Insta's "amateur" cameras have their professional application. A camera such as the one you linked to would only be purchased by a few companies around the world, and geared towards Hollywood-level rentals. Obviously no regular production company could afford such a rig, or would be foolish enough to spend that kind of money on tech that will be obsolete in a year. The tech is moving so fast, it just doesn't make sense to buy anything too expensive.
+David Field That's true, after 360° there will be 6dof and 6dof is more a matter of software than hardware so it can envolve very fast. But now they have a true professionnal level camera, the insta 360 titan that cost 15000 $ with 8 8k cameras.
John theux I just don’t see the Titan being worth it on 9/10 VR productions for its price and overall mass. If I had to guess most production companies are hesitant to invest so much, and clients won’t know the difference. The only real noticeable quality at this stage is the color depth and noise levels - not the resolution since headsets can’t even display half that. If you know how to expose properly the 8bit cameras like Insta360 Pro2 can be color graded to look just as good.
A 8K stereo camera:
let's show them 1080p mono footage of a horse with motivational music in the trailer!
Ingenious!
This is going to be a game changer for VR content!
