This song is a true masterpiece. From the unique bass line -- To the sound of the drums, it really sends chills down your spine. No other song from the nu metal genre can bring such instrumental intricacy, yet remain bearable for so long. I don't give a fuck when they say Limp Bizkit is garbage. It takes an amazing group of musicians to create something like this, something that represents the uncanny valley of anger; when you are so mad that you are at peace with yourself...
This is what the old LB was all about. It was all about creating the godliest rhythms imaginable.
And to top it all off, it was improvised?!
This here, is something else entirely.....

Sam and Wes are the reason that so much of this band's catalog is still so revered. They have always given this project wings and an ethereal tone and identity that inspired musicians like me. They're special, man. People give them so much shit because of Fred's output, but no one can deny that Jon, Wes, Sam and even Lethal to an extent are incredibly tight song writers. Atmosphere saved this band for A LOT of people.

Oh, so much built up inside

Freak the fuck out on you
I just sit back and laugh
    And you want more
    You don't have anything

30.04.2018 .. and it's Midnight again , about to graduate Uni in June ... about to quit my shitty job
I don't know what is happening anymore , still found my way back to this track.. (I've had lots of times listening to this song since i knew Limp but 3 memories of listening to this track stood with me)
So .. now it came to my mind the first time i felt and appreciated this song was on 19.08.2013 , just had a very bitter-sweet summer injured at the begining of the year and through the blender with my then gf in spring...
Now I'm feeling all these moans and laments of Fred hard .. Fred at almost 27 y.o. broke and went through lots of things in his youth before recording this.. he totally released all the mourning , frustration and anguish that he had inside.
      Fred , Wes , Sam , John , Lethal you're legends
thank you for all the mellow-sad songs that you've created in your career through Limp

WTFFFFFF??? This song totally blows my mind! The fact that Limp Bizkit of all bands recorded something like this really changes my perception of their entire project. I mean fuck!!! This shit is 100% dope! The bass line and drums are wonderfully seductive and locked into one another so perfectly. Wes' trippy af guitar notes floating in and around a phat earth-heavy groove like some slow-motion waterfall tumbling into a green and bottomless abyss of moss and ferns. I could play this shit on repeat for an hour or more (oh wait, I actually did that). Stone cold jammer bro.

Another good mood song kinda in the same realm as this mood wise is a song called "JAIL" by the group DOWN on the album NOLA. Philip anselmo of Pantera fame is the singer of the group. Great mood song !

They wanted to end the album in a unique way that would slowly fade away.
It's actually a pretty good place to put the track, considering how angry and energetic the other tracks are. This one is like a cold shower on a hot day, as it takes all the frustration and energy from the other tracks and just ends the album with a nice and slow psychadelic-like jam session.

Nostalgia and memories really hit hard at 41 years old. A really special time in my life. A kid in love for the first time. This song washes me away…sometimes it’s painful and provocative, but always it’s also bittersweet and beautiful. You wonder if those people are thinking of you sometimes. 🤘🏻❤️

I can definitely see why people compare this to Iowa by slipknot. It's because despite the fact that Iowa is still a heavy song, it's one of their most non heavy, acoustic like songs. Songs like this stand out because you don't expect them to come from a heavy metal band.
