This album was a cultural phenomenon back in 1999.. If you weren't there, you won't understand what an amazing time this was.
Exactly !
Shit this song was hot when I was in middle school and high school in the early and mid 2000's. Good times!!
Bro skating everyday in jnco jeans, blasting good tunes and playing video games at night. 1999-early 2000’s was the best.
It wasn't a cultural phenomenon, it was pop music back then. I know because I was the target age.
Pretty much, exciting times
This song will always hold a special place in my heart. My 13 year old daughter had this as her ringtone on her phone and while she was going through chemo it would ring at the most interesting times. We lost her sometime around 2014 but every once in a while Fred Durst comes on the Radio and I swear I hear my daughter say "I DID IT ALL FOR THE NOOKIE"
Rest in peace Lisa!
sorry...

Can anyone explain this pic to me?
I feel like instead of a LB concert, this is some Harry Potter congregation or is it a gathering? Idk their terms...
There's a kinda cute guy w/a bad hairdo in the bottom left corner, he has his left arm upon some guys back that's in front of him.
The guy in the red hat behind those guys, is that some elf hat or am I high?
Then I'm seeing stuff on the other side too!
Closest to the stage, watching the crowd, he looks like he's got some weird helmet on w/something, idk a gopro maybe on the top? Or is it some weird medieval helmet? 👀
Idk.
I'm high. 🤪
Man, how fast 20 years goes by..
Right! It’s even older than that because this video dropped in 1999. I don’t know why they have 2001 in the description 🧐

This song is perfect. Two words. "Wes Riffs."

These dudes were ahead of their time with their blend of styles of rock, rap, hip hop beats, and breakbeats.
Did you ever heard about a genre called NU-metal?

They weren't what I would call ahead of their time, there was never a better time for a band like Limp Bizkit to have exploded like they did. Not before the 90's or anytime after, it was timed perfectly. Not a shot just a difference of opinion.

Some of the best years ever. Highschool, pre Sept 11, KoRn was at a high, Limp Bizkit, Deftones, Godsmack, Incubus... We were all pissed off at our parents but half of us didn't know why and most of us would grow up to realize we were stupid and they were right. No one knew who Linkin Park was but they would soon come to change tons to people that liked this type of music. Being a prep wasn't cool and the looser your clothes were the better. We barely knew what the internet was and Napster was getting us all threatened with jail time.
Ahhhhhhhhh the good ol days!
Yep! Limp Bizkit was one of the few right at the forefront of the nu metal era, and then Linkin Park said "Hold my beer" and blew everyone else out of the water. What a time it was to be alive as a teen, along with everything else you mentioned.
Amen... those days were great.
nailed it
Yep, and you had to have a couple pairs of JNCO jeans.
I was pissed at my parents to.. Now I am older, and I realized they were indeed stupid, and I was right....
Fun fact: nookie was originally written by Kurt Cobain but then given to Fred Durst for it was to emotional for Kurt to preform live.
I’m such a menace to society
No it was written by John lennon who was great friends with durst, but never mentioned it because it thought it might impact future career negatively

This brings back so many memories...😢. Limp Bizkit was on top, wrestling was the best thing on TV, and other great bands like Korn were taking off.
I think we ALL did it for the nookie
People wanna talk shit about this band, but cmon, how are you even gonna deny this band changed music forever.
deez nuts
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
How did they change music forever?
@@Dannymon yeah, I wonder too, no doubt they had a great commercial success, but changing music FOREVER???
They are better than Linkin park
Fred is the childhood imaginary bestfriend we all had back in 2000 when we were still watching legends of the hidden temple...
Fred has been in my head for years, his music reflects many of my life choices and I think when artists have been through similar shit as yourself they put them feelings up there to tell anyone who has or is in a shit relationship that sucks.
Don't care who hates them. Limp Bizkit is fun.
