One of the things I like is that unlike other Grimms, like Nick's mother and aunt, Nick isn't a kill all Wesen kind of Grimm. He merges his duties as a cop with his Grimm duties and makes himself an ally to Wesen who need his help, like the guy Nick gave the hammer to. The local Wesen community saw Nick as a protector and in turn helped him when he needed it. What better protector than the Boogeyman?
@Alonso Kalel Dude, did you put this everywhere?
@@evanboll4651 I glad I'm not the only one who sees it and I don't think its only him. I have seen other writing the same thing. I wonder how much or if they are getting payed to promote this stupid thing.
@Alonso Kalel We don't.
John Wick?

I liked the idea that there was _more_ than just Wesen out there. That was something the show never really explored... a few episodes mentioned it but that was about it. Nick faced two, maybe three things that weren't actually Wesen but it was mostly treated like an everyday fight - done and forgotten afterwards.
I think that's Grimm's artifac books only have a record about mythical being around half of Europe and America (and a bit part of South East Asia and Japan).
I wonder if they have a record of Asia, Australia, Russia, Africa or Antarctica. 😶😶😶
But what's the point in creating new wesen beyond wesen if you can treat them in the same way as all standard wesen?
@@sheole5165 Depth of the Universe?
You know, as I am watching this, I just thought of a theory of why Volcanolis wanted those volcanic rocks back: what if all of the volcanoes of the world are some sort of sacred burial grounds to Volcanalis' kind, and those stones are actually the remains of dead Volcanolii?
Could still have demanded them back first, but nope, just kill everything, that's the solution.
@@Zoraste How do we know that they can communicate the same way that we do? We don't.
@@PrinceoftheAbyss They can still communicate, even if they can't talk. Body language works wonders.
@@Zoraste What if they communicate telepathically, or something like that. Maybe that's how Volcanolis could tell when the stones were moved from the volcano; he could feel the disturbance.
@@PrinceoftheAbyss Well that'd be even LESS excuse not to try communication first.
I miss this show so much!
Me too so get damm much
Would be nice if there was a game of it
I dont, it was to repetitive
@@ConradProteus What would you rather have, a repetitive yet interesting and entertaining story or pull a supernatural and shit out a halfassed, nonsensical story that drags 12 years.
@@yz6448 if its always fresh it can last 100 years, but its ok each one got his own opinion
Came back to watch this clip after finishing the season 6 finale. When Nick's son Kelly was writing in the journal in the last scene there was a small tray on the table with 2 rocks on it - an obsidian & a gold rock from a Seltenvogel. So it means either Nick killed another volcanalis or he took a piece as a souvenir.
"Think we should we read him his rights?"
"Yeah. Last Rites."
Great line.
I agree. The pun was well executed.
Nick: "So what's it gonna take?"
Marcus: "What do you mean?"
Nick: "To make hell freeze over?"
The Indomitable Nick Burkhardt
I like Munroe's line "Keeping Portland Weird." 🤣
I think Marcus smashing Volcanalis would have been even cooler if he'd vogued first. We didn't get to see enough of his Wesen form.
I can see it so clearly: Nick gives Marcus the sledge, Marcus vogues, and in a rage, charges at and smashes Volcanalis to bits. Then vogues back to human form. That would have been cool.
Yes, indeed.
- that was sweet of him to let the guy get the last hit in since he's been working toward that for so long.
I still hate Renard for how he became the villain towards the end of the show
Yes. He was a solid character on Nick's side. Absolutely hated how he was swayed over by Black Claw to join them so easily.
He is so cool though 👍
But he redeemed himself though.
Honestly that was more on faulty writing then anything else
I felt past two seasons felt rushed.
"Keeping Portland weird"! Oh my ghods I'm dying from giggling!
They need to do a reboot. A more darker version that explores the grimms history and show them to be more of a fighter kinda like the witcher. More history into the different types of monsters and there strengths. I never felt like he was in trouble or scared.
i agree
Continue the story with the kids.
Continuation? Into Kelly and Diana's lives? Growing up in a house with their parents and hearing how they met would certainly be different from most family stories
@@Terry.sd_Whittle it would make an epic extension to the myth and lore. Minus the drama. They should already know their history of being step brother and sister.
@@syahril54 I think they're half siblings. Daina calling Nick and Renard Dad would certainly confuse Kelly down the line I bet
"Keeping Portland weird."

Like it needs any help. 🙂
This episode was one of those which separated Grimm from other series for me. It goes beyond the weekly new Wesen. It adds to the mythology and creates a greater magic world. There are wesen, but there are creatures beyond, powers beyond humans turning into half animals. Few series did this (except Buffy). Most concentrate on ONE aspect.
Supernatural does it
I agree. We need more show that focus on more than just one aspect of the Supernatural and the Occult. Sure, Buffy and Supernatural did it besides Grimm, but Grimm made it interesting because they only gave us a few tastes of what's really out there in the world of Grimm. Volcanolis is a great example; as well as La Llorona, Jack the Demon and Baron Semedi (I STILL say that he was the genuine article who was 'riding' one of his Wesen followers.)
@@PrinceoftheAbyss I agree that having an element of mystery, that there is more out there in the show that it will never fully explore, is a good idea. That is one reason that I liked the movie "Bright"- it has a lot of implied history and lore, but it doesn't make you try to understand that. All the audience needs to understand in "Bright" is the current conflict that the two protagonists are facing.
The cucuy clip hits for hispanics. El cucuy is considered a “boogey man” in Mexico
Teen Wolf did it with stuff like the Wild Hunt and the Druids.
I am now gonna have to re-watch Grimm.
I watch it atleast 3 times a year, never gets old
The Tormentor I agree
Me too, I missed it so much

The series is awesome i have the whole thing on my hardrive
Just wait until 4th season when everything goes down
But still watch it completely

up to season 5. Not sure there if the final season was 5 or 6
Was this thing actually Wesen? We don't get to see it Voge or un-Voge as the case may be. Was it really right to destroy it? Like the killing tree, it is a protector of nature. I'm surprised the State of Oregon didn't reject those scripts.
It was around this season we realize that Nick does it just protect the world from Wesen
What else should he do ?
And to protect other Wesen from the evil wesen.
@@TheOcculticUnicorn To be fair, he most likely saved a lot of Wesen in this situation
It's kinda sad that this Wesen/Nature creature is just protecting nature from humans and then he's/its killed merely for its duty
Yes, i felt sad for him.
One of the only shows with a perfect ending 👌
It wasn't a perfect ending though it was more like the beginning of a sequel which they could have down if they focused more on like the mythological aspect of the creatures that aren't Messin like this guy
Magnamaster idgaf it was perfect for me 🤷♂️
It was completely rushed

@@loriesamuel3932 no the show was finished or cancelled after the 6th season, though if ur up to the last few episodes of the 6th season I'm not surprised u think that
Grimm lads & lassies. Little extra for the next you'll use the freezing option. The ones who hold the "sprayer" of liquid nitrogen, they have to wear gloves. I work in a lab where we use these nitrogen containers. If you hold the sprayer without gloves your skin will freeze immediately. You can be a Grimm but your not Superman.
My best showww💯💯💯💯
Supernatural better
Supernatural is on another level, is not fair to put grimm and spn side by side... but Grimm is awesome too.
I just watch the whole series. This is ones of my favorite episodes of Grimm. 💀
I watched all six seasons in a month. You know a show is good when you can love/hate characters like Adalind and Sean.
I like how Monroe had a built in Wesen response to seeing volcano man and that response was, "Get a Grimm! Get a Grimm!" You know something has to BAD for a Wesen to INSTICTIVELY WANT a Grimm.
Get a grip, get a grip.
“Get a Grip”
That's not what he said though ffs.
I miss this show so much xD
I wish this show would of continued...i really loved watching it
They are coming out with a spin-off
@@StanvilleBrown for real? When??
@@whatif7234 I think next year.
I miss Grimm, I finished the series twice, I need them to make a continuation. Like them doing their job with their kids and defending human kind and wesen kind, I forgot how to spell that properly. They really need to make more seasons or make a movie, or make a new series with the kids taking over or one where his past ancestors start discovering their powers. Or a series were the main character is a Wesen. Choosing to either protect the humans or his own kind. It be nice.
If playing video games has taught me something, it's that anything can get turned into a weapon. 😂
I would have loved to see who would win if that fire wesen fought this thing. This creature would have probably won. That mud creature vs this creature could also be a good fight.
One of my favorite Grimm episode!
I was gutted when the series ended. I’ve watched the whole thing at least 6 times as it’s like visiting old friends, all of mine are gone now.
I know the feeling.
There’s supposed to be a Grimm spin-off idk when hopefully this or next year
we want grim baaack
Put those pieces near heat, he comes back like the Terminator T-1000.
I thought it/hishe was coming back like that too.
just chuck him back in the mantle and he'll be right as -rain- a molten demon
why would you
Gosh I miss this show😭
Nick offering a sledgehammer to that widowed husband as a justifiable right outside the law
For that man to finish off that creature/murderer that killed his late, beloved wife for good.
50 honorable points received for High Honor Value for that humane Grimm, indeed.
Time to rewatch grimm

I can watch it all day I have the entire box set on seasons 1 through 6
The end of this reminded me of the ending of "Time Bandits."
This was one of the boring episodes but I still love Grimm ♥️♥️
I still would like to know what the volcano guys deal was or if their was more like him, like one made of ice or one of lightning, they probably could’ve done more with that
Well yeah he falls under the category of the water ghost the siren and the mermaid that they showed they were clarified to not be vessen
@@Magnamaster by water ghost you mean la llorona?
And the mermaid was a wesen, its called naiad
Three years late, but I imagine the tree creature was some kind of similar species, just made of wood

Where?
Indeed. He doesn't play a very... pack-leader-alpha role in this one. More of a tool, really. Lol
I remember the episode of Excandesco or Escandescko, forgot the name, I thought at first they forgot Volcanalis description. Also, I hope they did more new weapon creation in Nicks era as a Grimm. More input from his adventures that aren't in the books.
Renard was a good part of the gang, why the heck he had to betray them?. He should have known that nick was not gonna go down easy.

Grand entrance
They need to put this back on Prime.
ChucklesLeClown just started watching on prime
@@dumbdog54 It got removed from my region. :(
This is the modern version of the witcher
Is this truly a Wesen? Or is is something more primal like Zorestor? All i know is Nick made the right call to impliment last rites
It was a Wesen and it was primal more like a pure Wesen with no human form type thing the Zorestor was the same thing. My question would be we know Wesen with a human form and even the ones that go feral can see Nick is a Grimm by looking in his eyes. So these more pure form Wesen ones with no human form what do they see when they look at Nick?
