The white cap is giving me medicine vibes. The previous presentation looks leaps and bounds ahead of Italian love.
Definitely gonna try this one , I liked the original for its watery pepper marine smell , but I hated the intense on me it was a sticky thick candy smell , I loved light forever and I’m definitely getting this new one
I got this in the airport the other day. Not given it a proper wearing yet, but really enjoy the opening so looking forward to giving it a few full wears over the coming weeks

Sounds fun 🤩 also, do something of a british perfumery legacy, or italian, french thing... like, I'm sure people would love to know what's the best to come out of those countries... cuz really there's a legacy there for sure... peace & love ❤️
Agree with your take but I prefer the extreme grape fruit of Light Blue Forever. It knows what it is and is so unique.

This smell reminds me of aqua di gio EDP with an additional strong grapefruit note.

I can't stand forever, but this one is the best of them all!
Boots near me wanted to get rid of some of their stock of Forever. So I got 100ml for £29. Wore Italian love today and you’re right, it’s very similar but I did enjoy the differences too.

I had a big change of opinion about LB Forever as well. I totally put my decant to the side and decided to forget about it but pulled it out recently and I’m loving it. Excited to hear about this new one 😎

Saying that Chris, I had Mancera Aoud Vanilla first few wears very disappointed just had this odd watery smell and the vanilla smelt synthetic, after a few mouths later I tested on my hand and wow smelt so much different I was pleasantly surprised.
Own a bottle of light blue eau intense and love it so was interested to see what this one was like, still yet to get my nose on it.
Another day, another light blue, the one, stronger with you, or ADG flanker. Not to mention the new polo blue and the latest cool waters.
It would be great if brands really ‘went for it’ a bit more and we got some exciting new releases. Flankers everywhere!

Frag mental I'm thinking off maybe buying a few fragrances for myself and building a small collection and would wanna get use out off my fragrances tho so wont go too crazy what sort of shelf life do fragrances normally last
Try Forever in 30+ celsius. It's great! Italian Love is 95% the same.
Yet to try this, but i really did not like LB Forever
For me...i really do not want to smell like grapefruit, i know the dry down changes.
But was not a fan, far prefered light blue intense.
BUT i will give this italian love a try

I hated it at first but over time it grew on me, the grapefruit was too much at first.

the new summer releases are a hit or miss for me… sometimes it’s too much grapefruit or too salty…..for me personally i enjoy the smell of rasasi hawas and missoni wave
Only Light Blue flankers I’ve owned were the intense and Living Stromboli. The latter smells great. I was hospitalized with gout in 2015 and lost all feeling in my feet and ankles and had to challenge myself two weeks after to learn to walk all over again..heh what a nightmare.
The nurse, she smelled amazing. I didn’t want to be too weird, because I have anxiety when I want to ask somebody something and before I was hospitalized I had just started to dive back into the hobby. I asked what perfume she was wearing, she mentioned Light Blue. After I left the hospital 3 weeks after that I went and bought the male version of Light Blue, just to try it out for myself. Wasn’t immediately impressed but a few days later it got really hot and I wore it..wow.

The colour of the bottles look like they’re trying to ape TF Costa azzura and TF neroli portofino
I have this frag and you really hit the nail on the head. It seems like a clone on the opening with that loud grapefruit blast. Italian Love's dry down smells almost nothing like the opening (which threw me off). At it's core Italian love is more of a Ozonic / Salty / Humid frag and Forever seemed to remain citrus-y throughout. Italian Love feel's like 2 fragrances in a bottle, it opens like Forever but cools down like Aqua Di Gio Profundo, another frag I love!
You managed to make me pull the trigger and purchase this one.

Italian love cap has inside a metal that smells. Remove the white cap and the grey chrome, then remove the spiral metal.

I didn't like it. It smells very odd. But i also bought a decant from a decant website and when i got it, the juice was golden color, not "blue". So is it possible i got a bad batch/wrong scent? Website is pretty legit with tons of 5 star reviews so i don't know if they made a mistake. But this italian love smells very weird. So the 5ML decant is just sitting on my shelf.

Yes egg smell I get from the original and I assume it would be the same for the intense. Tried Italian love and don’t get Bo smell.

I hated this stuff when i tried it at a department store. the grapefruit seems so strong, it almost smells like a bad Body odor to me. I usually love grapefruit as well, just was terrible to me!

@@tumbleweed2727 RIGHT? wtf was that? haha, It was apparent from first spray, even after having it rest for a good 10-15 minutes. Albiet on a tester card, not on skin but yeesh. I've never smelled such a sweat like BO having fragrance before.
The problem with the use of natural grapefruit in a fragrance is that it's phototoxic, it irritates the skin when sunlight shines on it. So it's unlikely to be natural.
If this is the case then I’m sure a brand as big as D&G wouldn’t risk it. It might be a very well executed simulated “natural” grapefruit.

I always enjoy your presentation but I must admit this type of fragrance just isn't my taste. This summer, I intend to lay waste to my bottle of Dent de Lait from Serge Lutens. Wearing it feels like clambering over the craggy granite on the coast of Maine while wearing your casual summer cottons which have been dried in the breeze and sunshine.
Guys I bought this frag, dont make the same mistake its just a hype. Just buy light blue intense.

The opening smelled like sweat, but it got better with time.

My gym is located in a shopping center so I test sprayed it on my arms before training and man... 10 minutes in my training I wondered, what's that awful smell?? I literally was convinced someone farted nearby. Never thought that strong grapefruit-citrus scent with a bit of sweat and skin chemistry could become so bad. Like a rotten egg with some bad animalic tone to it. Be careful about how it changes the scent profile on your skin and temperature
I honestly don’t know who wears perfume to a gym
That seems like a bad idea seeing as some perfumes can be dense.
Not to mention only the lighter perfumes are best for the gym like an eau fraiche
@@thechazz8080 Many people like to wear parfumes to the gym because of the warm-sweaty environment. Exercising with a fragrance is equivalent to wear fragrance in high summer heat. Smell fresh near bunch of people in a room
