Half Sicilian here..picked up Italian Love a few weeks ago and I love it. Same great grapefruit opening as Forever but a different and better dry down. Much better performance with the I.L. imo also.
How Italian am I? I'm Don Rickles in the movie "Casino" Italian...meaning, I ate spaghetti for dinner once but I'm not qualified to review this fragrance.
Nice review When I smelt this in Ulta last year I wasn’t a fan… just picked it up discounted and I must say-- I was missing out lol. The opening grapefruit I needed to get used to but I have and love it now… the rest of the fragrance is A+ for me. I do own Light Blue Sun & Eau Intense. Imo- they are all great in their own way. If I had to rank them I would probably go Italian Love, Intense & Sun… but I’ll grab either of them in the summer with NO hesitation.
Great video, sounds like I want this one. I am thinking about getting the light blue forever to wear straight away and possibly to layer it. My scent of the day is Banana Republic grasslands
I got a decant sample last week.The opening is a very strong grapefruit scent that might be overbearing for a lot of people. The drydown does not work for me. It’s a sour,musky scent that smells like sweat, especially in very warm temps.
Another banger review. I just got a bottle of light blue forever and now need my hands in Italian love. I for sure am not even 0.00001 percent Italian but who doesn’t like Italy😆 and Italians
I had an Italian neighbor growing up in my black neighborhood in Brooklyn. She was the best. She fed me all the time. I think that makes me at least 2% Italian, and this scent is tough on the nose. It's all tart grapefruit, eventually sprinkled with some grass. Quite frankly, it stinks.
Haha that’s great. Definitely at least 2%. So I understand totally why it’s polarizing. I smell a lot of designer cookie cutter safe scents so this one being something different just appeals to me.
my last name is italian but im half irish my father was adopted maybe my other half is fragrance i gotta get dolce and gabbana light blue intense but this sounds ok

I think Italian love is a strong scent but the grapefruit is definitely weakened. I still enjoy it though but I understand if you like forever already that would be preferred

Personally I can't stand this fragrance. I got mine in last week sometime, and I can't stand that grapefruit it almost makes me sick. Not a scent I want people associating with me.

Italian Love is 90% forever. Same in the drydown. Both great scents

I know some get this effect Jimmy. I’ve gotten that with other fragrances for sure just not this.
