A lot of asbestos and led paint and god knows what chemicals in them places are cordoned for a reason. But its mans inquisitive nature .. I think keeping your health is a priority..protection first.

Its RAF Hixon it was a Bomber Command training station for Wellington Bombers it operated from 1942-1945 and it closed in 1957.
