It's the original seal just cleaned up very well. I wanted to buy full replacement windows but they weren't available. All that I replaced were the rivets and upper hinge pins
They look great! Of course, you could have left it better than original. BTW where did you get the rivet that goes outside, where the glass pivots? How are they called and how can I find it?
Thanks! Off the top of my head without watching the video again, I think it was just paint thinners for cleaning (my usual go to regardless) and a general purpose grease on the pivots. I think I may have used some wd40 or similar on the seals too, to help when installing them. Hope that helps!
@@DentFreeImagePeterVega yes more than likely. I actually reused the seals, paint thinners on a cloth does a wonderful job of rejuvenating old rubber but test it first, not all types are compatible
Very nice job!
Great video, thanks

Thanks! Some i bought from Heritage parts centre, but I didn't buy enough, so I made the rest on my lathe.
Nice work.
Thank you
Excellent job! Can you share what are the different fluids you use to clean and lubricate during this process. Thank you!

@@jdmjesus6103 thanks for the quick reply! Looks like you also lubed the old seals to first removed them using WD40. Thanks again! 🤙
