- Did you know that these are all the countries in the world with IKEA stores?

These are all the countries in the world with IKEA stores. Starting in America, the north is covered by IKEA stores, but that's not true for Central or south America. There the only countries enjoying swedish meatballs are Mexico, Dominican Republic, Colombia, and Chile. Moving to Africa you can visit IKEA in two countries. Morocco and Egypt. Europe on the other hand is packed with IKEA stores, there is at least one in eeach of these countries. And the same is true for Turkey, almost the whole Arabian peninsula, India, China, South Korea and Japan. Moving south we also add a lot of countries including Taiwan, The Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia Singapore and Australia.

A lot of people, especially speakers of “good brit English” like to popularise the mispronunciation of the name. I was even ‘corrected’ for pronouncing it the original swedish way.
@@Triadiiyeah everything has a different pronunciation in each country. and since english is the world's lingua franca, everyone uses the english pronunciation of ikea which is "eye-kea". its just like how everyone pronounces the capital of France as "pa-ris" when its actually pronounced as "pah-ree". its not a mispronounciation its just how it is.
