I seen Bryan Adams in a bar in Saskatoon Saskstchewan in about 1980 just before his first album was released. He is a legend in Canada. He is also a Oscar nominated for the theme song from Robin hood Prince of Thieves.

My first concert ever. 3 hours of magic. 3 hours of a teen seeing one of the greatest. It was the "Roomservice" tour. I still have the ticket on my pinwall and will always remember this evening!

Being a teen in the 80s was awesome! We had so much great music and people wanted to be happy and not sweat the small stuff. This song was part of the soundtrack of my youth and I’ve always loved Bryan’s music. Keep it up Alex!

You have no idea HOW nostalgic this is. I'm a Canadian and was about 11 when this came out. Moved away from Canada at age 22 to Australia. Was getting drunk in a pub in a rural farm town after work on Friday with an international and local farm boy bunch, when someone fired up Summer of '69 on the jukebox. The whole pub started singing at the top of their lungs. That's when I realized this song was truly international.
I always liked Run To You as well. Of course, the ballads were always the biggest hits (Heaven, Everything I Do I Do It For You, Straight From The Heart). I never owned any of his music, but appreciated it whenever it was on the radio or MTV.
