    did you ask if they use mirin in the tamagoyaki? they usually do. and the unagi sauce (at the market) contains mirin and sake. you should be extra careful and ask them about the ingredients.

      Hi thanks for the awareness it didn’t cross my mind regarding the possibility of containing sake in those foods but I shall be more careful in the future. Thanks for the clarification

    Hi, the wagyu looks wonderful. Do we have to ask if the beef is halal? Or is there any indication in the label that it is halal?

      Hi sir. All seafood is safe to eat. However the beef Wagyu claimed mostly slaughtered the Muslim way but no certification to prove otherwise.

      Hi I tak perasan dorang letak halal cert ataupon tidak tapi dorang ada letak perkataan halal di luar kedai nya. Anyway u sound Malaysian to me.

      I would say everything I tried is halal except for that Wagyu meat. There was I think some miscommunication when I asked the Japanese chef if the meat is halal slaughtered or not. And he reply was sort of yes. But avoid the Wagyu at all cost. All seafood is fine to eat.
