Brenda Deserves a documentary like this. So happy to see Brenda's being talked about a lot these days and making music history and still given the respect now as she deserves. What a voice!
This is the perfect holiday gift. The Brenda Lee story and nobody can do it better than PBS. God bless that beautiful voice and that heart of Brenda Lee . She is the greatest Christmas gift we have❤
I hope PBS will do something about Dottie West like a documentary. They did a great one on Patsy Cline. I'm so pleased Brenda Lee is getting this treatment. I love Brenda's music and her personality ❤
I got to sing with Brenda in December 1959 in Los Angeles at the private school we attended. I was in the 1st Grade and she in the 10th. The school put on an annual Christmas program and it featured Brenda singing her new hit Rockin Around the Christmas Tree. My class was asked to sing parts of the song and dance with her. What an amazing memory sixty-five years later! I think Brenda only was a student at the school a short time.
I'm so glad so many of these documentaries are being done about classic stars. Noth that they havent already been done, but this may be the last roung for a lot of these classic stars and their peers very important work imo..
COUNTRY MUSIC, the Ken Burns documentary, had a great chapter about the 50's. Guess who was one of the artists Ken interviewed? Yup, Little Miss Dynamite!❤
I saw her perform in my hometown of Hagerstown, MD at the Maryland Theater in 1986. Brenda is really a small lady, but can belt out a song with the best of them.
"No one says, country artist Brenda Lee, or rock-n-roll star. She's just Brenda" - this seemed like an odd comment, then I realized how many artists are locked into a particular genre. Where I came from, the same artist would often do opera and twist, although not anymore I guess.
She kicked the door for taylor swift as far as I'm concerned. Even Taylor loves her music. Can you imagine being a teenage girl holding her own with the guys.
shaddup already...this is SUPPOSE to be a trailer. Quit whining to seek attention...nobody cares if you cancel; PBS and life will go on afterwards, geez.

Miss Brenda Lee, you were my Grandma's favorite, you are my Momma's favorite and you are my favorite 🥰 Thank you!
Please make this available so we folks overseas can see this too!
She is just a dynamo. So glad everyone will have the chance to see her life story, so few people really know.

I thought she died years ago. Nope. Turns out, she just sounded like a 40 year old woman at 13.

Seriously, PBS? Hardly anything but trailers here. I will cancel my subscription.
