Just bought from Sam’s club 60 day holding bin ( $100 off). Had it cleaning immediately and when it got low on power went back to dock and recharge👍🏻. Did a “ matrix” clean in my kitchen ( tile floors with area rug under table. Not only did it clean beautifully, I have a cat and dog, it was able to maneuver around the table and chairs and did not get hung up once😊. I couldn’t believe how much pet hair this thing picked up! Very happy 😊❤️
Love the bag less, but I’m returning because No-go zones don’t work and does a poor job on our throw carpets.. do you recommend the j9+? It’s on sale right now.
The RV2300s come with a 30 days capacity bin, RV2310AE come with 45 days, and the UR2350AE come with 60 days capacity. I bought a Walmart Sam’s Club version UR2350AE for only $170 in brand new condition. I also have the Shark RV2011 exclusively for Target barley over $125 also brand new. Production date is March, 2023. I will test them this week and see how is the performance and quality.
@@littlecube141: : Good news. I did a lite test, The UR2350AE (RV2310AE) is great, and I am pretty much like it for my new home cleaning without carpet. The motor running sounds pretty quite, and the cleaning is good. It does pick up the small debris and dust. When you dock it to the base, the Robot will turn around and start about 10 seconds of self cleaning process. AlI realized that the series 2300(RV2300S, RV2320S, RV2310AE, RU2350AE) are just released on April, 2023. They are newly released just 2-3 months ago. What I like the most is the self empty base and self cleaning roller brush worked great. You won’t see hair left on the roller brush after cleaning. Overall, I like the RU2350AE.
How on earth are you getting prices that cheap? I’m not a Sam’s club member, but Costco so I can’t check that. But the rv2011 at target is $449 and it’s not a matrix but the older AI. Amazon has $239 for this exact matrix featured here and Costco has the matrix plus for $399 which costs $699 everywhere else. That one has the 2 in 1 mop and it has the clean edge tech. I just got the AI ultra from Costco for $299 on sale. I figured they were gearing up for a new model as they had this one at least a year and it started at $399 and went down from there. Now I’m wondering if I should return the AI and get the 2 in 1 matrix plus for $100 more while I still have the box sealed, or at the very least the matrix featured here from Amazon for $239 bc that’s way less than I paid for the AI ultra. I don’t like how the hepa isn’t replaceable in this model. Why would they do that? So either never replace your hepa or buy a whole new bin every year???? Vacuum wars rated this vacuum very high. This is all to replace my aging roomba 635 from 2016
@@michaelv1984 If you understand how the retail world works, you may understand why retail price is so expensive while the same item still brand new are so cheap via third party seller. For example, Quickship Electronics. Quickship Electronics is not an Apple dealer. However, they work with Apple dealer to handle the return. Quickship Electronics received the return either return back to the dealer or buy at discount price from dealer to resell. Let’s say Best Buy sold an iPhone 15 for that $799.99, the buyer then returned it because changed her mind, the iPhone is returned to the Best Buy’s Logistic partner, Quickship Electronics. Quickship Electronics then buy the iPhone at discount price without Warranty, the $799.99 iPhone now sold to the Quickship Electronics for $400, Quickship Electronics then resell online for $599.99, and offer only 3 months or 6 months warranty, then you will get a new iPhone at $599.99. Robot Vacuum Cleaner technology are updated very fast. You can get the Shark RV2400WS only from Walmart last month only sale at $399.99. Because Shark released the new RV2820AE, some older models will be sold on clearance price if the merchant has excessive inventories left over.
What the heck is the difference between the Matrix (RVxxxxae) and the AI Ultra (AVxxxae)?? Which one is newer?? Shark doesn't seem to want us to know 😅
Matrix is newer. They are extremely similar, though the Matrix did have better performance in our tests. You can see both reviews below: moderncastle.com/shark-matrix-review/ moderncastle.com/shark-ai-ultra-review/
Has anyone tried to save the floor plan configuration on the Matrix or other Shark model from your phone to the hard drive on your lap top or desk top computer( i.e. first floor). Then re-configure a lower level or upstairs plan on the robot by deleteing the first one and then save it as well on the hard drive. Then be able to choose which to re-load back into the robot - allowing both or all three to be mapped so you could switch from one to the other depending on which floor you wanted to vacuum? I understand from the u-tube videos that the robot app can only hold one configuration at a time
I just got one, and the roller causes the robot to run really loud, it sounds like a propeller running. Is anyone else having this issue? I had to take the roller out, and now it runs quietly.
I feel it is annoying that every time needs to manually turn on the robot by pressing the button for a few second. The Eufy’s power button design it is better than Shark’s Matrix.
@@City-Hiker Ah, I see. Unfortunately, this really isn't a Shark issue, more of a robot vacuums in general issue. Most of them are going to power off automatically to conserve battery if they aren't on the dock.
I don’t like the hepa filter bin design. Replace the whole thing because the paper filter clogs up and cannot be removed singularly. The base has no Hepa filter at all and a weak motor. Leaves dog hair clumps in the tiny robot bin. Picks up well but lacking so much quality that my i3 and i7 Roombas have which I call the real champs of robot vacuums. App is easier to understand on roombas also.
Which model? I do agree, their earlier models were quite mediocre. The stuff they've released in the last year has been a significant performance improvement.

I haven't tested the j9+ yes, but I have tested the j7+ and it was exceptionally good. Hard to imagine the j9+ isn't incredible.
Helpful review, thank you! Super cute name for your vac, btw; however, it's Colonel. 😉

That's interesting. Glad to know I wasn't alone in my wifi troubles.

That sounds like you have a defective unit. It shouldn't be making that much noise.
How do you keep it from going into certain rooms or areas? My one that just quit working had magnetic strips. Thanks.
Matrix has a virtual map within the app. You can create no go zones within the app.
