    Great presets and captures guys, thank you! Whenever a market becomes available, I will buy your packs. Please, keep publishing QC content. My experience with the QC so far has been great. Very easy to tweak on the device, which is great when playing live and rehearsing. Compact, and plenty of foot switches. I use my drives and compressor into it, also using the loops.

    Loving the quad cortex!!! It took me a while to get used to its format and I did have some concerns at first about the number of amps effects etc. Having been a committed Helix user for 6 years it was a leap of faith for me to switch to the quad cortex. Having it for about a month I have to say I'm very impressed and what stands out to me with the QC is the FEEL!

      Have the Kemper, just sold the Helix and recently bought the QC. That's exactly what I mostly like about it above the aforementioned. The feel is very a "organic" response compared to Kemper. Helix I just didn't get on with, too hard to build a true amp sound with it. Kemper is great, but so clumsy in editing on the fly. Looking forward to updates, especially having Archetype plugins one day on it.

    I absolutely LOVE the Quad Cortex!!! I was searching for an all in one until and this was everything I wanted and more. It allows me to use my actual amp in any setting, anywhere. Plus the size/weight is perfect. I’m currently itinerating to return to Japan as a missionary, so these features were very important to me since you need to walk and carry your stuff everywhere.

    Using it and loving it. The capture tech and UI are so good. Stereo amp captures and captures of my favorite ODs all in a tiny footprint along with GREAT sounding effects are some of the highlights for me. Best of all, it FEELS amazing to play. Can’t wait to check out more of the WT content as it comes available. Keep up the great work, fellas💪🏼

    Ha ha, Marshall The Guv'nor! My first drive pedal purchased in 1988. Still got it! Love my QC. I got my QC as a pre-order and received it the moment they first arrived retail in the UK. Enjoyed your Bassman capture very much, thank you, and regularly use variants of your presets at church. Really looking forward to when you will be able to release more QC content in a marketplace type environment. Big thank you for all your channels content. Blessings.

    I've been playing Lead Electric at my church now for 3 years. Started off with a Helix LT, and like many others, loved the tone but wasn't crazy about the size of the unit. I've used Worship Tutorials patches for the past 2 years and have never been let down by how good they sound. I switched over about 3 months ago to a QC and have loved every minute of using it. I understand why there haven't been as many QC patches released since the QC came out. Would love to see some sort of way we could compensate the channel for the release of more QC patches :)

    Former Kemper stage user here. I’ve been using the QC for about a year and really enjoy it. Just picked up a FM9 turbo and it’s the shiny new toy. Also have the UA Ruby/Dream on a board with pedals. For me, nothing beats a real amp…BUT I hate carrying them. FM9 editor is sweet but nothing beats the portability of the QC for an all in one. Like you guys have said, the difference is so small (especially in a mix), it kind of doesn’t matter. You can’t go wrong. They all sound great. It’s an amazing time to be alive!

    • @taylormesa
      @taylormesa Год назад +1

      I had the QC and then switched to pedals, including the UA Dream and Woodrow. How to you feel the QC holds up to the UA amp models? I kind of miss the all in one of the QC, but i'm afraid the models wont be as realistic as the UA pedals...

    • @Dadbruh
      @Dadbruh Год назад +2

      @@taylormesa I run the ruby and dream through a diso+ and looooove pedals. I use a RJM switcher to manage everything on my main pedalboard. For me, I get the closest to “real amp” feel with the UA pedals but I end up taking the QC, or the FM9 more recently, for the sake of real grab and go portability for weekends. In the mix…I can dial all of them in to sound pretty much the same. There’s definitely some redundancy.
      I find that each platform does something just a little better than the other when I’m messing with it but you’re in splitting hairs territory. Pluses and minuses for each. They all sound so good! You can’t go wrong. You just have to figure out what’s more important to you. For me, my back makes a lot of my choices now. My tube amps only get attention when I’m being nostalgic but I’ll never let them go 😀

      Would you mind giving me your thoughts on which of the three Kemper Stage, FM9 or QC has the best "feel" and which one you felt you played the most? I ask because I have one large board with od pedals/UA amp pedals/HX Stomp XL and another board with fuzz/od pedals/NUX MG-30/Meris LVX... Honestly, i find myself playing the NUX MG-30 board more since I just use the Chop tones presets and it's pretty much plug and play. But, the UA pedal amp board sounds better to me but play it less...I'm looking for an all in one solution that makes me play more instead of tweaking and messing around.

    • @Dadbruh
      @Dadbruh Год назад +2

      @@eanroad With "feel" being pretty subjective, I'll say for me, the FM9 is the closest to my real amps followed by the QC and finally the Kemper Stage. Sound wise, they can all get really close to the real thing. I moved on from my Kemper because it had some weird artifact stuff going on in the mid and upper frequencies that I had to EQ out. I will say that the UA pedals "feel" slightly better than all three but you trade the portability of an all-in-one and you're also locked into those specific amp models. The FM9 and QC are really close. There are things I like about each unit. At this point, if I had to choose just one, I'd probably go with the FM9 but I would miss my QC.

    Been using the QC as my primary all-in-one for about a year now after using Helix and HX Stomp for a few years and I still am super happy with it. The launch was definitely on the rocky side and I definitely think the marketing was problematic especially, but the sounds have spoken for themselves for me and I haven't looked back. I've been using the Tyler HM30 captures as the heart of my presets for a couple months now, and definitely am looking foward to getting hands on more of y'all's captures with the marketplace launch soonTM!

    As someone who doesn’t own the QC, what Bradford said about a unit speaking to his way of doing things really made an impression on me, and it’s why I’m super glad I have an FM9 because it speaks my language. The fact that all these units have different workflows and approaches makes us each better players and tone sculptors. The QC samples here sound amazing, though!

    We are always debating about sound quality which is indeed an important aspect of those machines. But I think we are not taking into consideration that a pedalboard like Helix which is older than QC and probably a little less "modern sounding" (in terms of technology) is far more usable live. Far more complete in terms is switches, expression pedal, external loops, inputs and outputs. Maybe that's not a selling point for everyone but we shouldn't base all our beliefs in terms of power or Dsp limit. I had the Axe fx3 for 2 times and I end up by selling it 2 times.It's more powerful than the QC but it's models sound too digital, too precise too cold under the fingers. I use the Helix since 2017 and update after update Line 6 has showed to give constantly a new life to this machine. Obviously some amp sounds good whether others are less precise but to me as a live musician the Helix is unbeatable for its versatility. The scribble strip are amazing and helps a lot in a dark stage. The QC, for now, it's a good exercise but not mature enough to break the market. Neural should launch a big brother with more switches, screens over the switches and an expression pedal. This way the QC would be, probably, the best outhere. For now even at the cost of tiny less quality the Helix is the best of all modelers for live playing.
