On October 1, the premiere of a stunningly beautiful OST video for the song “Baikal” took place on Diana Ankudinova’s RUclips channel.
The soundtrack performed by Diana became the main musical theme of the film “The Spirit of Baikal,” which will be released in wide release on October 19, 2023.
In the film itself, Diana voiced two roles - the spirit of Lake Baikal and the voice of the soul of the deceased mother of the main character of the film. The film received several top awards at film festivals.
Baikal is the deepest, oldest, freshwater lake on Earth (22-23 percent of all fresh surface water), it is a place of power, the spiritual center of shamans, different religions - Shamanism , Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, a pristine place not yet touched by civilization.

The song is a about a man who has lost his lover, the line of black cars with flowers and his love never to come back is a reference to a funeral possession. Like a new born baby is born everyday so to does someone die everyday. He wants the world to turn black like he feels inside, when he sees girls in bright summer clothes it just hurts him more so he has to turn away from it. People quickly turn their heads away from him because they don’t know exactly what to say to help him manage his grief. As the sun is setting he can imagine his departed love beside him laughing and yet he is still in pain.

Most love songs at the time were "boy meets girl, boy loses girl, boy gets girl back again" - The Stones though gave us "Boy loses girl and she ain't coming back".
This song is super deep in a very mad way. I thought the same also.
