On November 21. Recent news revealed that PGR Global plans to synchronize its updates with the CN version. This means that by the end of 2025, all servers in the global version will receive the same updates as the Chinese version. As a result, the Devil May Cry 5 x Punishing Gray Raven collaboration will no longer take a year to arrive on the global version but it will happen much sooner. This is crazy! If you're new, you'd better start farming fast and do every next upcoming events, because missing one would be such a missed opportunity.

I never liked mobile games but PGR is so good that I consider it as my top 3 hack and slash action games along with DMC and Ninja Gaiden. Idk how they deliver peak character combat along with incredible bosses every single patch. I started playing PGR during Nier collab because I also love Nier franchise and I immediately fell in love with PGR. Also looking at alternate BRS coating I am hoping that DMC alternative coatings will be the characters but turned into machines, that would go hard
PGR top tier combat gacha game and One of the most F2P game ever is enough for me to play this game And having Kuro as a Dev is a great bonus because I've played many games and Kuro is the best Dev.
PGR CN actually already has all of the mechanics for DMC 5 collab, they have a stylish mode to showcase a player's skill when it comes to dodging and parrying as well as comboing, characters have air combos now, one character literally has 3 different Ultimates, there's already a juggle mechanic for Global too, though you can't send them up into the sky like DMC you can still juggle enemies in the air, I've done it with Crimson Abyss before. Yes they've also implemented jumping mechanic, only for one character for now though and that same character can literally fly and juggle enemies in the air, it's crazy.
peak of combat shutting down isn't surprising at all . Although i'm not a DMC head i know enough to see that they fumbled bad . In beta it was a game first , gacha second , but the official release was gacha first , game second .
I just downloaded this game and finished download the 14gb package inside there, might quit my 4 yr genshin progress for this cuz feeling bored with the exploration. In genshin I'm only interested on main archon quest and some event quests like this latest Nahida birthday event, event like this are the one that pick my interest.
For this game story start interesting after 8 chapter in early chapter the story is not good because the focus in story is "confusing" so many info and other But after that the story is well development and better storyline Sorry for my bad english but hope you understand its

Pgr needs jump mechanic, jump cancel, and the ability launch enemy into the air for dmc characters to do combo at the bare minimum. As for dante, i hope they can implement weapon and style switching.
They already have that for CN and some of those mechanics on Global, i can tell that they've been preparing for this for a while now, since most of the recent Gen 3 characters in China Servers are actually so complicated and have movesets so vast that it doesn't even feel like a gacha game.
One of the reason why it PoC got fucked is probably because NebulaJoy. I search in the internet and wanted to learn about them and discovered they are quite a bad. Why i think this because they are the reason Megaman x DiVE had a lot of dramas. There is a video about them. Certain servers getting shafted, Criticisers getting banned, Favoritism, one-sided bullying, Inexperienced developers and probably marketing as well. Got so bad that the online server is gone on play store (offline version is available, but its paid) Of course PoC downfall is due to changing the aspect of what makes it a DMC game, but nonetheless, they might be the reason.

Differences like their services, Banners, their free codes, Even events and its banners were complete different rewards across servers. They were totally disregarded of their privileges unlike other servers. "Criticisers getting banned" is the situation on megaman x DiVE, they were giving valid criticism but they were all looked away, one particular, banned them for validly criticising the game. Would even converse toxicly with the players on discord. Its related to Megaman situation aswell so I didn't elaborate more on favoritism. they favors the mods much more than their own players, I also remember they were getting all the benefits like better rewards. I'm not sure but i think competitive events would favors the mod as well, giving them more benefits. One-sided bullying involves the same game, a criticiser was put in different discord server to be bullied by whomever the instigator invited to the server. Played a bit and seeing how they make the characters be expressive in the menu instead of just standing there with voice lines playing makes me more excited for this collab. And also just wondering what dante vergil and possibly nero will say when you have been playing the game for an hour.
The news brought me back to PGR after almost a year break. What happened once I logged in again? Well I pulled both new Watanabe and Lamia because Kuro decided I needed some new experience. Then it gave me Alysa. I forgot how much I adore this company. Anyway, the question I have is how the hell are they going to incorporate Dante and Vergil in the game? I know, I know, thye have gotten ridiculously creative with the latest frames but I still want to know how our 3 ping system will tackle the ridiculous movesets of these two. Maybe pinging certain orbs will put Dante in different style? Different orbs for different weapons? They HAVE TO put attack combos that depend on when you press the button. And I am pretty sure we will get Dante, Vergil and Nero. Dante and Vergil obviously gacha but Nero could be a freebie. Maybe we will get V too but most of us just want Dante and Vergil I assume. Anyway, cheers. This is good time to be a KURO fan.

I'm sorry if I say anything harsh about PGR story. I don't dislike it but I just never found myself time to get into PGR story yet if that's okay for a reason to skip it.
I mean the early the better for new people, (I did mention the collab is going to take 1 year for it to happen in Global) because they need to get a grip on the game first so they can prepare for DMC collab. Usually if you're F2P, every month you'll get like 5~7k Black Card at least by doing Daily Login and Weekly (not counting maintenance, events, and other activities rewards) So, in a year you could accumulated around 60~87k Black Card. Plus if you also doing events and other activities rewards that numbers could increase to 100k+ (If you don't pull for anyone at all) Which is more than enough for the collab.

You've got nothing to lose from trying it. And unlike DMC PoCrap, the devs (Kuro Games) are actually passionate about their game and have a large community both in CN & global supporting their IPs: PGR & Wuthering Waves. If it ends up not being what you're into, it's fine to uninstall. But I've never heard of a DMC fan saying PGR sucks after playing it themselves. Same for Wuthering Waves (their open-world action game inspired by Death Stranding).

I really don't know if Kuro will go with that direction. If so then DMC characters will literally take over (or 1 step up) over PGR characters due to most of them never be able to do Enemy Step or JC Combo. Which is kinda unfair for PGR side. But idk, that's just my thoughts tbh.
@ColorSettings you are right its pretty much a broken mechanic. But it can be manipulated like only allowing limited enemy steps like 3 every time you are in air. So cancelling just 3 times.
@@Sriram-nu6ls you can still play the game on PC all region, or if you're using phone use APKPure and download xapk (there's video will show you how to install it.) once you done that just use 1.1.1.1 VPN and then boom you get to play it with any region on phone. (Although be aware that each new update you're gonna do the same exact thing again like downloading xapk and reinstall, etc...)
Everybody have different opinion, from your POV it does suck so i can respect what you're saying, but from my POV It doesn't. (To be honest, It kinda my fault from the beginning cause i didn't record much footage, so you may have that kind of reaction. I can't really get into PGR because it feels pretty outdated to me. I will check out the collab for global once it releases and most likely uninstall after the event ends.
The devs have already said that the reason they drastically changed the game's combat system was because in the first betas, player retention was low. 90% of players quit the game after 7 days, and with this new system, that number has been reduced to 35%, This is of course not counting the global version. I think this game would have a future even with the changes, if it weren't for the annoying fans who don't accept changes. Want to do insane combos? Go to PC/console. In this game, you can also do combos, but in a more simplified way for mobile.
Hmm no offense but the most f2p friendly gacha is still a gacha slop to me. They could add nero, dante, vergil and kiryu kazuma and I still wouldn't care, but hope you enjoy it

Since kuro is very generous at BRS collab, we might get 2 free characters in DMC 5 collab. But i know it's not gonna be Vergil, bro is the main money generator in that event.

@@kratosmuscle1163 Yea, it's up to you. But I guarantee you this Collab wouldn't be a disappointment to you. And the game might be a bit complicated for newcomers but it'll give you a lot of rewards if you stick long enough.
You've got nothing to lose from trying it. And unlike DMC PoCrap, the devs (Kuro Games) are actually passionate about their game and have a large community both in CN & global supporting their IPs: PGR & Wuthering Waves.
If it ends up not being what you're into, it's fine to uninstall. But I've never heard of a DMC fan saying PGR sucks after playing it themselves. Same for Wuthering Waves (their open-world action game inspired by Death Stranding).

But isn't enemy step or jc combos the special unique dmc mechanic? Besides style meter.
I really don't know if Kuro will go with that direction. If so then DMC characters will literally take over (or 1 step up) over PGR characters due to most of them never be able to do Enemy Step or JC Combo. Which is kinda unfair for PGR side. But idk, that's just my thoughts tbh.
@ColorSettings you are right its pretty much a broken mechanic. But it can be manipulated like only allowing limited enemy steps like 3 every time you are in air. So cancelling just 3 times.

@@Sriram-nu6ls you can still play the game on PC all region, or if you're using phone use APKPure and download xapk (there's video will show you how to install it.) once you done that just use 1.1.1.1 VPN and then boom you get to play it with any region on phone.
(Although be aware that each new update you're gonna do the same exact thing again like downloading xapk and reinstall, etc...)

@@aidenyeager5066 well from what I can tell previous Collab were one-limited, there was 1 time they return the Collab banner but now hasn't show any rerun since then. Well if you don't have a phone try PC if you have one, that would be great

I can't really get into PGR because it feels pretty outdated to me. I will check out the collab for global once it releases and most likely uninstall after the event ends.

Bruh, they butchered dmc poc combat like wtf. It's not even a dmc anymore because of how they change the combat.
The devs have already said that the reason they drastically changed the game's combat system was because in the first betas, player retention was low. 90% of players quit the game after 7 days, and with this new system, that number has been reduced to 35%, This is of course not counting the global version. I think this game would have a future even with the changes, if it weren't for the annoying fans who don't accept changes. Want to do insane combos? Go to PC/console. In this game, you can also do combos, but in a more simplified way for mobile.
Hmm no offense but the most f2p friendly gacha is still a gacha slop to me. They could add nero, dante, vergil and kiryu kazuma and I still wouldn't care, but hope you enjoy it

DMC games in console are offline game only, but when it comes to mobile it became online game 🤦 what kind of sh8 is that, how can enjoy playing dmc in mobile without internet 😤
