Iommi just sounds perfect when he plays and it's endless. I can't think of any other guitar player that can maintain such an interesting flow of sounds without sounding like they're trying to make noises.
Just Amazing.............They sound soooo good it is on another level. This man been singing since late 60's and he still sounds top notch here live. Truly a marvel to behold. Great stuff, glad we have this to watch forever!

Dio died 10 months after this show, he didn't know he was devoloping stomach cancer yet he was diagnosed with it 4 months later in November then died 6 months later. It took him out really quick

It didn't sound like that live there, the audio is quite edited, you hear a rhythm guitar during solos, but the band has no rhythm guitarist! the sound is great, especially the guitar sound, which is completely dumped left and right, you are completely fooled!

@@crazedv6952 That's how he does it, its him doing the rhythm guitar and they play it during certain parts and solos..but not all. He mentioned it during an interview I saw a while back.

I was so happy to see this tour. I saw them in Binghamton, NY, about 10 minutes from where RJD grew up (which he also pointed out). They sounded very good and he seemed very gracious.

Ahhhhh.
What a high end LP for such veteran powerhouse that "the devil You know" was. That LP sumarizes Sabbath with Dio s stint, with much mature content, really fresh and dark, instead of heavy and epic. I felt like Dio threw his Rainbow departure hard feelings in Sabbath s music, so it didnt gelled quite good back then. I love those three lp s, but the one they did under the heaven and hell moniker, that sets them apart from all that was before. I don't know how to describe how un-sabbath, un-rainbow, un-dio (band), it really is. They reinvented themselves, while using their usual musical elements, but on a more commited manner than ever.
