No newborn I ever bathed cried the entire time or shook like that, just saying that it doesn’t have to be like that and you do have the power to stop it!
@@shottwice I’ve worked with newborns for 30 years professionally and babies do cry but this was borderline dangerous. The infant of that age loses heat quickly and cannot replace it on its own and can cause shock which takes a lot of time to overcome. Plus the natural oils on that newborn make them slippery and hard to safely hold. Lack of knowledge or lack of care is evident in this video.
@pamowen3452 In every video of one of these ugly, bulbous headed things getting a bath there's ALWAYS someone complaining about how it's done. Whoever is bathing the diaper shitter wants to be sure you have as good reason (in your mind anyway) to run your snot gobbler.

Neonatal nurses do not bathe babies that way. That might have been the way it was done years ago, but it is not the standard of care now. I pray this is an old video.
It was NOT done like that ever. In 70 years 3 children six grandchildren and many family and friends with babies I’ve never heard of this let alone seen it. Bloody lazy and disgusting way to treat a newborn.
I am 8 days away from having my baby girl wrapped up in my arms and I just want to snuggle this little nugget so bad. Oh my goodness the cries give me a mixture of absolute heartbreak and just the urge to coddle him. He's so perfect ❤❤❤❤
So unnecessary. Baby has all the skin protection he needs. Wait awhile a give him a calm, positive experience in a warm bath provided by his loving parents.
What was the point in holding the little baby like you were rinsing off a turkey? I don't know how warm the water was, but the baby clearly hated it. He probably would have loved soaking in a nice relaxing tub.
Who cares what he would have "loved?" This is his first lesson that this is life and you don't always get what you want. The thing is fine. No harm done.
Absolutely. He's so cold, he's shivering and his jaw is shaking he's so cold. This was not the nicest way to give a bath. Convenient for the nurse, not baby.
I recall ESPN and Skip and Shannon reporting on each and every one of these incidents BUT they never had this amount of detail about any of them. I have never seen a baby bathed in this way! He has just come out of his mother’s womb where it is warm and quiet and then plunged into this! I realise that they are busy but could take a little time to be more gentle! Why not have a proper baby’s bath to bathe him??? That full tap pressure would have been shocking!
Good lord, people are so damn sensitive, "omg baby is crying, sooo mean!", "you're being too rough with baby, its cruel!", get over it! Babies cry, its normal, they cry over anything, they cry during baths, diaper changes, vaccinations, milk being 5 minutes late, when tired etc Sometimes you need to do things even if it means baby will cry, such as baths and vaccinations and diaper changes, if you didn't do anything that resulted in baby crying, this baby will be left to roll in his/her filth and get deadly diseases...

So relatable. I traveled from Florida to NYC during a major blizzard back in '06. It was so traumatizing. I was so cold i couldn't speak. If I could I would cry like this baby lol.

Many newborns are wShed in the sink, but usually in a baby tub. And not this young. At least mine weren't bathed like that. They only were washed with a soft facecloth.❤

Poor Bubba, floating calm and peacefully in a warm tub with mumma or daddy is a nicer start to life.
Seriously ! This was mean 😂

No newborn I ever bathed cried the entire time or shook like that, just saying that it doesn’t have to be like that and you do have the power to stop it!
Bro babies cry at anything ur dramatic.
@@shottwice And I’m not your bro
@@pamowen3452 not the “I’m not your bro” 🤓
Go talk to 60 year olds weirdo
@pamowen3452 In every video of one of these ugly, bulbous headed things getting a bath there's ALWAYS someone complaining about how it's done. Whoever is bathing the diaper shitter wants to be sure you have as good reason (in your mind anyway) to run your snot gobbler.
Parece que si😮!😢
You're first shower....they don't get much better. Welcome to the world😘
Poor he just came out of the warmest coziest place ever to being just freezing and naked and exposed LOL
Nothing funny about it at all she should be fired! It’s like she has a hatred for infants
@@moriahabraham7537 fired for doing what literally every single person who works at a hospital does with a baby after you give birth? Giving it a bath? Come on now. She's doing her job. That baby is fine. He will survive a 10-second bath under warm water and then get wrapped up in a nice warm blanket and hand it to his mother. Y'all need to settle down LOL
@@troubleinthevalley5884 THIS COMMENT!!! These wannabe woke thirteen year olds seem to forget babies cry at anything that upsets them in the smallest way possible.
@@moriahabraham7537 literally stfu ur not intelligent. She’s doing her job.
@@shottwice thank you. As somebody who has given birth to four children I can confirm this is a completely normal thing that happens. But I forgot if you offend anybody or hurt any sensitive little feeling of anyone you deserve to be fired, cancelled, or lynched and dragged through the streets and then tarred and feathered LOL
Ma boi got big head here "it's a big baby brain time 😈😈" W baby
He will smell like a newborn smells - pure sweetness. I like how she wrapped him up quikly to warm him up.
Like washing a chicken. My goodness ❤️
We’ll said. I thought the same thing!
That’s how it’s done for the most part in hospitals, quicker and easier!
LMFAOOOO omg I thought the same.
Madness right!!
I'm sorry, I know there's a better way, but your comment cracked me up!! Slippery lil things too😬😳🤦♀️ like how many times have I dropped the chkn in the sink!!! 🤯 Thankfully we dont remember the stuff that did to us straight outta da womb!!!
He was saying “GET ME OUT OF HERE”
I don’t like how she’s washing or holding the baby 😡 if they hold my baby like that when she’s born I’m going to flip my sht
Neonatal nurses do not bathe babies that way. That might have been the way it was done years ago, but it is not the standard of care now. I pray this is an old video.
40 + years. I've never bathed a baby like this. The standard of care now is not to bathe them for at least 24 hours.
It looks like they’re not in the US so the standards are different in different parts of the world.
@@niratomas579 no neonate should ever be bathed this way, no matter where they are born
@@pamowen3452 I completely agree with you but I’ve lived in other parts of the world where this is how they do things🤷🏽♀️
It was NOT done like that ever. In 70 years 3 children six grandchildren and many family and friends with babies I’ve never heard of this let alone seen it. Bloody lazy and disgusting way to treat a newborn.
Omg I want to cuddle him bless him ❤
He was saying no no, not today....what a sweet lil cry....hope he learned to like them more
I am 8 days away from having my baby girl wrapped up in my arms and I just want to snuggle this little nugget so bad. Oh my goodness the cries give me a mixture of absolute heartbreak and just the urge to coddle him. He's so perfect ❤❤❤❤
Not to mention what if the water temperature fluctuates and hurts the baby
Good point
Absolutely! Wise words!
Well yeah but atleast he’s still living
So unnecessary. Baby has all the skin protection he needs. Wait awhile a give him a calm, positive experience in a warm bath provided by his loving parents.
The way I see it these nurses know what they're doing with babies.
Was there for my sons bath after his birth!! Thanks for the memories 😊
Him is so mad i love babies my God bless him and the family
One of the sweetest newborn cries.
No regret not having it done at the hospital… such a sweat moment without tears in our home ❤️
That’s a beautiful baby. 💙
Beautiful? Come si lava il pollo?
@@mariacolomba8780Because there's nothing beautiful about the big headed thing
@@Pumochka8Wrong newborns don’t shake or shiver
I can listen to this all day...such a blessing.
Awwwwww “I’ve never experienced cold before so I must cry!!”😅😂
That water flow is to highly pressured for this delicate newborn, you should know better, that would have hurt him.
Comfort the baby, hold him
Absolutely. He's so cold, he's shivering and his jaw is shaking he's so cold. This was not the nicest way to give a bath. Convenient for the nurse, not baby.
Newborns are supposed to cry. Some babies lips do that when not getting a bath.

I think the the baby found the water pressure uncomfortable. And may be he was cold too
I THINK HE'D RATHER HAVE A BATH 🛁 LOL 😆!
Yes the French method is very relaxing for the infant no crying at all poor baby !! 😢😢
First bath should be in a small tube with very gentle strokes.
I would have used a pressure washer.
I would have been so mad if this was my baby like the baby is shivering.
The newborns crys sounds like ultimate valkryes avatar🥹🤣
The way she bath the baby is like puting a plastic bag on the head and saying i love you and take it off.
Exactly!
Y’all act like it’s harming the baby bffr. Y’all seem to forget babies cry at literally anything that upsets them even in the slightest.
His neck 😢 I’m sure he’s okay but poor babies. They go through so much when they’re born ❤️
I recall ESPN and Skip and Shannon reporting on each and every one of these incidents BUT they never had this amount of detail about any of them. I’m surprised it took so long for the journalists to get all this information together to put it all out. I guess the league was trying to hide it and deal with Ja behind the scenes.
I’m so confused why they did that BCS ur not suppose to get the umbilical cord wet, it can cause an infection and also a delay on it falling off…
Yeah idk why everyone thinks this is cute I’d be so mad if someone handled my child like that
Didn’t they already cut it off?

Welcome to the world, Little Fella 😘
Poor little baby 💔 It looks like it's a lot of stress for him 😔
I have never seen a baby bathed in this way! He has just come out of his mother’s womb where it is warm and quiet and then plunged into this! I realise that they are busy but could take a little time to be more gentle! Why not have a proper baby’s bath to bathe him??? That full tap pressure would have been shocking!

Different standards
this is a very safe way to hold a baby for a bathe

Whatever happened to thermoregulation and how unsafe that was! Can’t believe the hospital allows that!

Good lord, people are so damn sensitive, "omg baby is crying, sooo mean!", "you're being too rough with baby, its cruel!", get over it! Babies cry, its normal, they cry over anything, they cry during baths, diaper changes, vaccinations, milk being 5 minutes late, when tired etc
Sometimes you need to do things even if it means baby will cry, such as baths and vaccinations and diaper changes, if you didn't do anything that resulted in baby crying, this baby will be left to roll in his/her filth and get deadly diseases...
❤❤❤ awww 🥰 so adorable and the cuties little cry ever 😊
