Thank you, I am looking to return to long from content this spring. I have found that my reels were getting me more growth. Thank you for your support.
1:42 My door has slop, which is what I came here for, adjusting the latch to lose the slop. So the video ends here for me since you said make sure it doesn't, but didn't tell me how.
My car door goes up a tiny bit when close. Try to adjust the striker like your but didn’t work. There’s are countersink screws there and they seem to move the plate back to place when tighten. I don’t think my car can be adjusted
The technique is the same but the tools may change, might need a different size torque bit. If you want to you can mark the position of the door striker with a magic marker and then only make small adjustments until it is perfect.
You’re awesome just aligned my 2003 Ranger, driver side opens smoothly! Thanks buddy

Is the backing plate moving or is it rusted in?
This is a simple trick to align your vehicles door latches.
My door rattles when I drive. What do I do ? Buy mew strikers ?
@ivannaAtchison I would check if you're door strikers have a plastic shim on it, if not then you might have to readjust the strikers.
Hi how do you fix same problem on ford fl50 cab and half?

The top of driver door let’s water in and has a gap of about 1/4- 3/16 of inch.. what can I about that?
Check the weather seal, that is a large gap and you may not be able to adjust the door striker that much.
My 2022 bronco door seems to drop when I open it.
If you take your time and only make small adjustments, you will get it perfect.
Chevy s10 is also t40
