Gibbs and McGee farewell is a father and son moment. Gibbs was more of a father to Tim much more than his father. I love where Gibbs picked to retire cause he finally found peace.
Them saying, "He doesn't want it (his badge) back." , was like him saying he didn't want *us* back. It just broke me. Like flying away knowing you'd never see your Dad again. We miss you , Gibbs. (And Mr. Harmon, thank you. Thank you for giving us this character.)

Two friends, two comrades in arms, two virtual brothers now on their own charted courses and as to where each ones goes, only time will tell . Farewell my old friend , it was heaven here with you.
Love the symbolism of him fishing in waders as the last time we see him.
